Lighthouse View

So enjoyed the top of the lighthouse, and going outside listening to the ocean and watching the waves come in.

Damp, molding, smell... Not toddler friendly!

This house is Amazing. My family loved it. Unfortunately, what we found the more time we spent there, was not quite so amazing. Just as I read in previous reviews, the house seemed clean upon arrival. As we walked through the house and property what we found was a house that had not been maintained or really cleaned. So many damaged and dirty things... Every surface was dirty and grimy; towels (only towels, no wash cloths) and bedding felt like it wasn't completely clean. The big fuzzy ball chairs are still there (from previous reviews) and were so disgusting. The couch had stuff on it and wasn't even wiped off. We had to cover everything just to be able to sit down. -The first morning my mother told me that she froze all night, even with extra blankets. In previous reviews, I read there were problems with the heating. I wrote an email before our stay specifically asking if this was a continuous problem. I never received an answer to that question. There was no way to adjust the heat. The google nest error code said it was disconnected. After contacting maintenance, we looked at the ducting and found it full of dust and dirt. We told them we didn't want it turned on after that; we would just make do. We sadly had to deal with it anyway; it turned on and ran most of the day and not at night (when it was needed). The previous review (almost a year ago) that described it as either freezing or boiling was correct. Having it turned on made me sick (all the stuff blowing out of the vents). -In both bathrooms, the shower curtains were filthy with mold and mildew. One was so bad, we had to buy a replacement so we could use it. -When my husband attempted to take a shower in our bathroom the tub filled up with really disgusting stuff. He spent over an hour (while on his vacation) cleaning the drain out and cleaning the tub before we could use it.

Nice property. Convenient layout.

The house was not clean. The furniture and floors were grimey. The linens were not fresh. We paid a lot in cleaning fees. It was very disappointing.

The tower's view was amazing! The neighborhood was nice. It was a comfortable accommodation for our family.

There were a few broken things which posed a mild inconvenience: shower head, microwave, basketball game frame ... not a huge deal, just not quite as expected.
