Decent home with lots of 'buts'

Property was clean and well maintained.

Four big drawbacks: 1) The description touted senior friendly however you had to navigate about 12 steep steps to get into the house plus about 12 more additional steps to get down any of the bedrooms. It was very difficult to navigate for anybody with mobility issues. 2) Don't expect much for supplies.... towels, soap, paper towels, salt, pepper to name a few. We even had to fold all towels from the drier. We couldn't find any kitchen towels so used some towels from the drier but couldn't really tell if they were for bath or kitchen. 3) Don't expect a full set of sheets on any of the beds. There were no top sheets (big yuck!) and we couldn't find any bedding for the futon that was listed as a bed. 4) The site was listed as no pets however we reached out to the listed contact because we had a couple with a well-disciplined service dog they needed to bring so we asked for special permission. The only response I was received was......."This site DOES NOT ALLOW DOGS". What happened to assisting the handicap or at least a little bit of compassion in their response??

Finally!! A dinner table and chairs big enough for the 9 of us!!!

All the entry info up front and early. Local host was fabulous. So helpful and responsive. All necessary information was provided early after booking no need for no back and forth last minute requests. We were able to contact the host directly with name, number and email. She was impressively helpful, efficient and responsive. Close to beach access. Clean, roomy, newer house.

We had a lovely time and house was fine. It felt under furnished. No surfaces for clothes or personal belongings in the bedrooms, like drawers or shelves. Just one huge sofa in the living room. Would have been nice to have a few chairs so we weren’t just lined up on the sofa when we sat together in the living room, which was often. The wonderful local contact person was great to provide dish towels and cloths and a mat for the entry hall.

It could use a dresser in each room or a lot more hangers
