Posizione eccellente per visitare Trieste, facilmente raggiungibile anche in autobus in pochi minuti. La spiaggia di Barcola è particolare, ma molto comoda e pulita: sembra di essere a bordo piscina! Appena oltre il giardino dell'alloggio vi è la linea ferroviaria, ma il passaggio dei treni quasi non si avverte. L'alloggio era molto pulito e confortevole, anche se piuttosto piccolo. Essendo organizzato su due piani con una scaletta interna, non è però adatto a persone con problemi di deambulazione.
Sarebbe utile un piccolo miglioramento nella dotazione di mobili (un armadietto per i viveri, qualche mensola per appoggiare le proprie cose da tenere a portata - chiavi, occhiali, etc.)

Really not set up for 4 people. Great for 2 people. Road to house was tough to drive.

Kind and helpful owners. Rooms and bathroom are very clean. Everything is new and refurbished. The apartment is located close to the sea.

We were grateful for the very warm welcome from Matteo and family - they were helpful and kind and then completely left us to our own devices. The apartment was spotless and the views were incredible. The bed upstairs was very very comfortable. Lovely to have coffee and a machine provided too. We liked Barcola Mare a lot- great swimming, snorkeling, gelato and friendly local people. And great little bars along the sea front for coffee in the morning and aperitivo in the evening. And a very easy short bus ride into Trieste, or to Miramare in the other direction. Both are great places to visit.

The apartment would be luxury for 2 people, and though we were comfortable as a family of 4 with our 2 children, it might be a little bit of a squeeze for 4 adults.
