The accommodation was easily accessible, excellent value for money. A big advantage is that you can request parking, which is a great asset in Trieste. The host communicated well and was kind! The apartment was spacious and well equipped.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Giulia and would happily recommend it. The apartment was very clean, spacious and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We also really appreciated the complimentary Illy coffee – it was a lovely surprise and a great way to start the morning. Communication with the host was excellent. They were friendly, responsive and very helpful. The self check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The private garage was a huge advantage, especially considering how difficult parking can be in Trieste. Our VW Touran fit in the garage. We had enough room to park safely, but larger vehicles should expect limited clearance. There are bus stops right outside the building in both directions, with timetables displayed. It takes about 10 minutes by bus to reach Piazza Unità d'Italia and the city centre. For anyone using public transport, we recommend downloading the TPL FVG app. We bought day tickets for our whole family and explored the city very comfortably. (It seems that it is also possible to pay with a bank card on the bus, but as we were travelling with children, we did not use that option.) Don't forget to scan the QR code on the bus when activating your ticket. This was our first visit to Trieste, and both we and our children thoroughly enjoyed the city.
