Short distance to Kaunas old town.

Where do I start.. the building is like something from house of horrors. It’s so unsafe and uninhabitable. We arrived at night and had to use the light on our phones to find our way the the back yard and up a very unstable staircase to the 2nd floor where the apartment was, when we first entered the apartment it smelled bad. The curtains didn’t cover the windows properly and the blinds were really dirty. There was stains on the walls where something had been spilled and not cleaned. The bathroom had 1 roll of toilet roll and 2 small hand towels that smelled really bad and stank the bathroom out.. When I messaged the host on the 2nd day asking for clean towels and more toilet paper, he said they would be left off which they were, on the 3rd day I messaged asking for more toilet paper at 9am, he replied around 17.00 saying he’d only received my message but when I got back to the apartment after 10pm he hadn’t left any off so I messaged him to say I had no toilet paper only to be sent a really rude message saying it’s not a hotel and 2 toilet paper for 2 people for 3 days is more than enough and to buy my own at the local shop and called me rude and vulgar for messaging him after 10pm.. absolutely terrible customer service. I would not recommend this accommodation to the kennel club let alone another person. AVOID!!!!!

Didnt meet the standart

We liked smooth check in

The apartment honestly lacked so much, dishes were left dirty from previous guests, it was said that there is washing machine, toiletries (only cheap toilet paper and hand wash was present), iron, drying rack and other things, so there was basically a not working tv, uncomfy springy bed, only 2 small towels for 2 people, no kitchen towel, dust on the floor, not finished apartment, not too dirty but dusty, kitchen is a whole another story, its an induction plate with a 2 small burned, dirty and horrible pots and a pan, they were very obviously used on a normal gas stove and are burned everywhere, hard water stains inside, cutlery is very funny, 2 pieces of everything, and 2 spoons, forks and knifes, and a dull cutting knife that barely peeled a potatoe as i tried to cook. There are some open wires in the bathroom ceiling which is a danger, and a burned out kettle that i was scared to heat up, no tea no coffee, no salt, pepper, sugar, there was only some ice in the freezer, we had to go to shop and buy it all, left it in flat for upcoming guests to atleast have bare minimum, we aswel bought towels. If the street goes loud you can hear every single thing, we were deeply dissapointed that tv wasnt working not even normal channels, if you wanna watch netflix, disney etc, keep in mind you will need your own account, stairs are scary, i could keep on going but i will never stay here again and do not reccomend it to anyone unless you need to bunk down and leave

I strongly recommend that no one choose this place under any circumstances and don’t be fooled by the low price.

The landlord was extremely rude and awful. Nothing looks like the pictures — everything is old and dirty.

It wasn’t so far from centre.

The moment we came in to the room it smelled bad. We tried opening the windows ,but it didn’t help much. The drive in the parking lot was really small and risky. The bathroom was dirty : it had toothpaste stains on the walls, we couldn’t properly use the shower because there wasn’t a handle to put the shower head on. The apartment was dusty.. The sheaths didn’t seem clean.. Bizarre wall color and painting.. There also was a cleaning fee.. The stay was not pleasant at all.

The apartment was not cleaned, floors, cabinets and specially the sofa were stained and dirty. The landlord didn’t bother to turn on the water heater, had to shower with cold water. In messages even threaten to fine us 200€ for not leaving 4€ for tax and not following rules like taking our shoes off in the house.

bad place to stay!

Host provides wrong information , you book one service and got completely different, we booked room with double bed and sofa bed and there wasn`t any sofa at all. Also communication skills very poor if you have any requests nobody will solve it, they just send you where are the keys and that's all. If any problem or misunderstanding you should deal yourself or except it.

Apartments was not very clean, mostly bathroom, they say that have parking, but it is actualy not possible to get in without make your car broke, if it is raining you cant go out normaly, the design is not cozy, dark, almost no window even during the day you have to use light. If you need one night to sleep it is okey, but if you need to stay longer I do not recomeend.

Nice stay with some minor disturbances for a short time

The apartment is in a good location with its own parking space. It looks modern inside and is compact for a short stay. Wifi was fast. The host was quick to answer.

We wish the host would have warned us ahead that we need to turn on the water boiler for hot water, we needed to wait quite a long time for it to get warm. The floors were cold. Bathroom and corridor walls were dirty. If you plan to cook anything, there's no ventilator for cooking smells.

Unapologetically cold

Apartament is well equipped and tastefully designed. Good location.

I hate to write bad reviews, but I have no choice. There was no heating all night and by morning the temperature was -13 degrees Celsius. We had to wear all our clothes to not freeze at night. It is winter! When I got a reply to my complaint in the morning when we were already checking out there was no apology or concern from the person on the other end. Required response in this situation is "We are very sorry for the inconvenience" or "We apologize that this happened", none of which I received. I understand that accidents can happen, but you have to inform about this or react to received information appropriately, please remember it next time! I am glad we stayed only one night as I have no confidence that we would have been offered any solutions (e.g. heater) had we stayed longer. Neighbour apartament's tentant confirmed that he also did not have heating at night so this was affecting the entire building, therefore it is serious and warrants a better response and management of the situation.

Very disappointing experience

Location is the only advantage of this apartment.

Communication of the host, room description, room facilities, building, bed, parking. I write bad feedback really rarely. But I want to leave the hones feedback on this apartment so other travelers can make right decision. 1. First of all communication can be a bit better. Once you book the apartment, you get a really big letter from the host with no 'hello' - just a lot of rules and instructions in a rather impolite manner. The description of the flat says that it has 2 beds. I expected that me and my 8-months old baby will sleep on one bed and my partner on another bed. But the letter says that the apartment has only 1 bedding. I requested one more and got the answer that the 2nd bedding cost 30 EURO. It is fully unacceptable for 2 reasons - the description says it has 2 beds and I booked for 2 adults and 1 child. 2. I should also mention the parking also included in the description. It is either in the corner of the street which is very small and can be unavailable or near the building through the arc. BUT! The arc is so narrow that our car could not get through... 3. I can not but mention the building itself. Check it on google maps before you book. It is a 2 storey wooden and very old building. It looks like barracks. I would not pay attention to it but it was scary to use its stairs with a baby in my hands. And it was blowing through these walls. It is very funny that there is a note from the host in the flat asking to review not paying attention to the building. If it were the only thing... 4. The bed was really uncomfortable and my partner was sleeping on the sofa without bedding. The apartment is really outdated.

Worst stay in my travels

House was in bad shape, and did not felt safe, stairs were unstable. Apartment was worn out and not cleaned - very dusty (bed, curtains, walls), dirty sink. Bed was very uncomfortable (very soft and noisy). Very noisy because of busy street. This was the worst experience in my travels and not worth any price. You do not get what you expect from pictures and description.

Firstly, the owner did not provide information on how to get to the apartment. Didn't answer our phone calls even though we called two hours before arrival. Already after 23:00, when we were left without an overnight stay, he sent us a message stating that we had to provide him with our credit card details and photo documents (we have been in these apartments more than once and he did not request this information). He also answered rudely after the cancellation of the reservation, referring to the fact that we do not follow the rules. Why is he asking for my credit card information? No communication, we were left homeless and could not check into the apartments. Worst experience, do not recommend.

Apartment had everything you might need for a 1 night stay. It was very close to our friends who we were visited, and that's why we chose it.

It was very hot in the apartment and if you open the window it gets very noisy in the morning as it is facing a busy street. There were no toiletries in the bathroom except hand soap by the sink.

The property is at walking distance from the city center, it is possible to park the car in the inner yard, so that it is not visible from the street

The building is looking shabby, but it is not a big deal actually; at the same time, be prepared that soundproofing is terrible. Anyway, the greatest discomfort during my stay was that the central heating was already off and it was cold as hell.

Outside looks like Beirut, unsafe staircase to room, shower drain blocked, shower leaking, cables hanging out of wall, no bin in bathroom, 1 roll of toilet paper, curtains don't fit the windows, no noise insulation between rooms, very noisy busy street and can hear everything, very abrupt notice and message upon arrival, only two hand towels, very over priced even though close to town.

The entrance to the parking is so small that you can not get in there without damaging your car, so literally there is no free parking as it is mentioned. The house is super old, the apartment really needs to be renewed and the host was the most unsupportive I have ever met.
