There was no-one at the property to hand over keys. No-one answered phone-calls, whatsapp and text messages. Had to book alternative accommodation at additional expense and did not get money back.

I don't recommend it

I liked location

It was cold inside, even the heating season is on, the fasilities had 18 celcius temperature, and it was locked. You couldn't raise it up. The apartment didn't looked as in pictures. It was dirty. The table and everything else. Looks like no one is coming to clean. Dishes were wet. The key box was also strugle. We tried to unlock key box maybe about 10minutes with code given. Looks like it's not working. Sad and cold experience.

Not suitable property to stay

Not thing to be like it.

Property was dirty, shower room, was disgusting, mold on the silings, spider website in there, flor was dirty too, sink was with food peaces from the previous stay, empty bottles in a corridor, on the flor dead bug's , big gap above the dor in outside corridor, very cold in apartment. The person responsible for the property was very rude on the phone, even though it didn't bother about the condition of the property.. Don't think that property is suitable for anyone to stay down there. To prove my statement is true I have photos to provide.

Poor communication from landlord

Good quiet location and cheap price

Issues with alarm entry code on two ocassions. One ocassion was at 1.15am and was told that there was nothing they could do and telling me to get a room somewhere else for the night. Then put the phone down on me! Had to purchase my own toilet paper. Only two tiny hand towels available. Woken up early one morning by the builders working on site. Issues City Tax payment and collection

Main issue - its cold. Bring couple of sweaters with you.

Location.

Its cold, currently the house is under construction, but nobody said about it. In the apartments you have basement, its dark, cold and scary, you definitely will not feel comfortable, especially because of glass door. Bring towels with you, dont expect that you will have them or it will be old hand size towels. In real life apartments looks worse than on picture, so if you choose this apartment dont expect alot.

AVOID AT ALL COST.

Words can’t even describe our experience here. It was so bad we had to leave half way I was told to contact 1 hour before arrival. I called 5-6 times with no answer, left us stranded outside the apartment in the the dark, luckily we had a Lithuanian speaker with us that was able to translate with a neighbour and they let us in after 1 hour of waiting. As we walked into the apartment we noticed cockroaches crawling everywhere and other small insects. There is basically no heating in that apartment it is COLD, we had to sleep with jackets the host refused to answer calls. Instead of taking feedback from other guests who have complained about the same thing and maybe buying a cheap portable heater this host does absolutely nothing about the situation. This is also the first place I have ever seen to give smelly hand towels as a shower towel … Just to mention that this building is a full on construction site. Garbage thrown from the construction workers in front of the apartment… The only positive I have to say is that the bed was relatively comfortable and the table had a cool design I have attached pictures to everything said in this review.

Disgusting bed sheets

No toilet paper, no towels and the worst was dirty and smelly bed sheets (have not been changed after previous guests, bed sheets smell of sweat and deodorant of last guests).. very disgusting.

Good place to stay for couples and solo travelers in the summer time.

Quiet place, near the old town. Perfect place for couples, solo travelers or persons who like to spend time outside in the town. Has a free parking lot, wifi and a netflix account.

Host accepts families with children, but the facilities are not adapted for families. No inner doors. Which makes harder childerns to get sleep earlier. No child seat available( even for additional price. Or it was not mentioned in the description) We were staying on the period in Lithuania, when the heating season was off and temperature was not too high outside, therefore temperature inside was bellow 18 degrees. We were literally freezing during the night. When I first arrived, the smell of sewers welcomed me and that smell didn't went off even after the day stay :( In bathroom there are no hooks or shelves where to put clothes, therefore I put them outside in the living room. And since kitchen have no curtains, next door neighboors could see that I am walking naked. We were staying 2 adults and 2 children and hosts provided us with 2 medium sized towels... Well 2 towels were not sufficient enough... And the smell of the towels were discint, probably used more time than needed or was not cleaned enough. Besides no bathroom mat was available, therefore we needed to use one of the towel as a bathroom mat... Host urgently requests that adults would pay additional city tax. Wouldn't it be easier just to raise total price by couple of euros, rather than just to ask for city tax and threaten with extra 10 euros charge if city tax is not present... 10 euros cleaning fee was described in the house rules, but I would say that the cleaning tools havent seen a man in years. They were literally covered in dirt and dust. There is also glass door to basement. It is loocked but still looks spooky. It could be covered.

Got threatened and asked to leave into cold evening. NOT PET FRIENDLY

The location would be great, apartment was nice looking with minor defects, but the host and communications was awful

The host is rude and impolite, I booked the stay for our first visit to Kaunas. Booked it as “pet friendly”, with additional charges. On the day of arrival, got the a message that dog is 20eur extra, and has to be in travel cage at all times, no free movement around the apartment, cannot be left alone even in the cage. Upon arrival, the host was still cleaning the property, even though it was an hour later than we said we will arrive. We dropped the bags and went for a walk, meanwhile I received threats that I will be charged 200eur, as my dog doesn’t have cage. I tried to explain the situation, as there was no rules written regarding the “cage and no free walk”. He got mad and said we have to leave now, or he will call the police + the 200eur penalty. As we didn’t use the property, and didn’t want any trouble, we asked for refund, but got rejected.

perfect location, nice view from the hill, spacious apartment

when we arrived the apartment was not cleaned, though i have informed the owner about the arrival time in advance, i.e. as soon as i made the reservation, and additionally one hour before the arrival, moreover, it was not earlier than the official arrival time indicated in the description. the towels and linen had a very bad smell. very very bad smell. quite too much communication re the city tax, you will be reminded about it numerous times. it felt weird, since it is only 1 eur/pp. the flat itself requires at least a small renovation.

Close location to old town.

No hand towels in kitchen nor bathroom. Only two small face towels on bed and no big body ones. Kitchen sink faucet was broken (host called day after and tried to get it on me) and fridge smelled really bad. Drinking glasses were dirty (or very old). Toilet was not cleaned and there was mould on bathroom wall. In the bedroom the bed made noise to every move you made. Bed sheet was upside-down and had hole in it. Blanket sheets were dirty. So I assume that these sheets go for many nights before they get washed. Mattress was old and uncomfortable. This was just my experience, but reading other reviews I think I wasn’t the only unlucky one. :)

The apartment is located in a nice area and is spacious enough for three people.

We had some miscommunication with the owners and the messages I was sent through booking. However, when I met the host in person he seemed to be very nice and helpful.
