great location, underwhelming apartment

great location, 3 separate beds

no basic essentials, such as toilet paper, garbage bags, tissues, shampoo / conditioner, hand towels, etc, were provided, which for a 9 day stay in essentially a full apartment, this feels like below the minimum standards. also, relatively dusty, with the bed not made up for the 3rd bed (in essentially a make shift bedroom that is covered by some cardboard in the hallway)....

Great place to stay in Kaunas

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in the heart of Kaunas! The location couldn’t be better. Right in the city center, with everything from cafes to major sights just a short walk away. The apartment offers excellent value for the price, providing a comfortable, clean, and well-equipped space. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy and smooth, which made the whole experience stress-free. Communication with the host was quick, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. I truly appreciated how responsive and accommodating they were. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Kaunas. Highly recommended!

Old and cold stay

Just location and parking

Before arriving, I specifically asked about the heating, yet the apartment was cold when we checked in. Only the bathroom and toilet radiators were warm. We thought it might improve, but the weather got even colder in the evening, and we couldn’t sleep until morning. The next morning, I reported the situation. Even though I explained that one of the backup heaters was not working, I was still told to use them. When I insisted, I was told that the issue would be forwarded to the manager. I contacted Booking.com customer service and informed them that we wanted to leave the property and request a refund. Booking.com could not provide a solution, and during this time all of our plans for the day were cancelled. Later, when we went out and returned in the evening, the radiators were working, but the apartment had already become very cold, so we spent that night in the cold as well. Booking.com also left us alone in this situation. Big companies should show their reliability in moments like these, and I was deeply disappointed. Additionally, as a Genius Level 3 traveller staying for 6 nights with 5 people, the apartment had only two rolls of toilet paper. There was no detergent at all for either the washing machine or the dishwasher. When I informed the host, I received a rather rude message saying that this was a rental property and not a hotel. I was not asking for complimentary surprises like many hosts provide; I simply pointed out the basic supplies that are typically expected—especially for a stay as long as 6 nights. I should not have to buy full-size products and then be left wondering what to do with the leftovers. It seems that some previous guests either stayed for just one night or do not travel very often, which may explain why they rated the property 10 out of 10. The host should travel more and see how other accommodations truly make an effort to ensure guest satisfaction.

Irish visitors

The apartment was really spacious and loved separated bathroom and toilet. Coffee and tea were supplied which was an additional bonus. Nice quiet area felt safe

Didn't like the steps to get into apartment. Also no light on gate which made code for access difficult to see

Dirty, unprepared for guests

Location and the size of the apartment

The apartment was very dirty, it was unpleasant to touch anything. It could be that we broght bedbugs home as a little gift. I booked a place with 3 bedrooms because we needed 3 bedrooms as a group of friends, however, we found one of the bedrooms totally unprepared for sleeping, with no bedding. Unfortunatelly, it was late at night when we noticed it and it was too late to call the owner. I guess it was assumed that we were 2 couples and only 2 rooms were prepared - but you sholdn't assume, you should ask if unsure. If people are booking 3 berldrooms - they need 3 bedrooms.

Good spacious apartment

We liked big comfortable beds (3 rooms have double beds). The apartment is really spacious. Toilet and bathroom are two separate rooms, which is good. There is also a tiny balcony for one. Grocery shop and restaurants are around the corner.

Clean and spacious, only a short walk from the old town.

When you are paying £65 a night for a family of six you have to set your standards appropriately. This place was spacious, well equipped, clean and surprisingly comfy. The communication and access from the host was good. The building itself looked a bit ramshackle but the apartment was old fashioned but very well kept. It was definitely a good stay and I would recommend for families and groups alike for short stays.

Gem for those who have car

Location was excellent and safe parking lot for our car in the middle of the city is great advance. Apartment is spacious, beds comfortable and there is all you need. Old building is pretty. Self check-in is something I personally like.

I could't get tv on... maybe it was user error? Luckily wifi is good, so I watched Netflix on my own laptop. Parking area could be difficult if you have big car.

Owner sent instructions how to get into apartments - you can check-in at any time: you will use code to open gate plus code to open the box with the keys. Car can be parked behind the building.

Old building; Shabby furniture. Apartment 10 years wants renovation. Dishes poorly washed by previous guests. No door/curtain in shower cabin - water splashes to the floor.

KaunasIN is a self serviced apartment in a perfect location. Very close to everything, supermarked and busstop 200m away. Seights right around the corner as well. The kitchen is limited but everything works. Beds a great and linnen very clean. Theres is also a balcony.

Good stay!

Good position, large apartment with everything one needs

The house was a bit cold when we arrived (+17C) on the thermometer on my watch. Heating was off and never turned on. There are electric radiators provided, which we had to place ourselves, but of course it took quite a while to get the place warm enough (I don’t trust leaving them on when we were not at home). Perhaps this is a normal setup in Lithuania, but we were not prepared for this.

Spacious comfortable apartment

Very comfortable spacious apartment in a convenient central location. It is very close to the main avenue, supermarkets, restaurants shops. Our excellent landlord Arturas was particularly helpful in sorting out a problem unrelated to the apartment. Recommend this apartment to anybody visiting low key but charming and friendly Kaunas.

Location is great, just 2 minute walk to all kinds of entertainment. Host was friendly over the phone and sent all details on how to access the property.
