Terrible place in an unsafe neighborhood. Host wouldn’t give us the code to enter until we gave him a deposit of euro 150. Had no choice but to do that. Freezer had old ice and was frozen solid to actual freezer. Furniture uncomfortable and in poor condition. Sofa stained and dirty looking. Booking.com needs to remove them

Unexpected deposit needed

The apartment was good, quiet and clean.

We weren't told that we had to pay 150 euro deposit to obtain access to the flat. First time for us this happened. Thought it was a scam but hopefully it isn't. Had to call somebody who wasn't owner but was in charge of distance somewhere. Also were told there was parking in front but was taken by somebody else in the house.

Likely scam

I was asked out of nowhere a 150€ safety deposit for a single night staying there (which costs less than half of that). This safety deposit had to be paid by putting my credit card information through a third party website. When I refused to do that, the access code for the key was withheld and I had to book a different property for the night. All their responses through mail and in-app chat are automatic, so they never even saw my refusal to pay the deposit (they asked me my checkout time and later on asked if my stay was okay, despite me never paying the deposit and never receiving the access code, which show how little attention they put to their customers) Also, if you check a couple other low rated replies on this property, they will tell you that their safety deposit was never refunded despite there being no damage to the property

Comfy apartment a 5 minute walk from a tram stop in Grenoble, a little far from Grenoble train/bus station, but reachable by using 2 trams or a 20/30 min walk. I only stayed night, arrived late and left early,so didn't use any appliances. Free Wifi in apartment was good. Code to enter building and another code to enter into box to get key. a little difficult to find key box at first. Only 1 step into apartment and one step into shower. Not sure how much a regular price is for this one bed apartment I got it for a special rate for 1 night, 48 Euros. Good host/manager. Good communication vis email through Booking.com. He understood my blindness and help me get easier access to the necessary access codes.

Short stay

The apartment was clean, the location was good, very comfortable beds, nice bathroom.Good for a stop over.

Too many messages from the property owners. The huge deposit you are asked to pay for damages(if this happens and cleaning which wasn't mentioned when booking). The television only had Netflix (difficult to operate) and Youtube. Would not stay for longer than two days.

Great

The property was located in a good location with restaurants and stores nearby. Also its located next to the alps so you can easily go there with car and all the good locations are relatively nearby like 1 hour distance. The property itself was good , beds were sorted , property was in clean condition , had a terrace for smoking too and relaxing , cooking utensils were available , eating table was big enough.

The toilet was separate from the bathing area and had no wash basin , it was a bit annoying. The property had some cleaning instructions to keep the property clean at the end of our stay but there were no cleaning tools provided like broom , mop etc. The terrace next to the garden had loads of mosquitos which when opened came into the property easily. Could be sorted with a mosquito net.

Disappointing

There was no parking space at the accommodation, therefore I needed to park my car before the apartment on the street. We went out for diner in the evening and when we returned 4 hours later, my car window was broken, pure vandalism. Overall the accommodation was alright but the location/environment is something to keep in mind when booking this apartment.

Beautiful and cozy appartment in Grenoble,

We liked the well decorated appartment, the communication with the host, his attention and help, the calm environment/neighbourhood and the placement of the building,, close to the tram and bus stops. The beds were fine and the terrace was very useful. The air conditioning was very helpful too, because it was really hot those days in the city (39-41 Celsius). In general, it was a comfortable place and we are happy to have chosen this place for our stay. We would choose it again for a next stay.

The appartment is beautiful, nevertheless, it is missing a couple of practical things, for example kitchen tools, hooks to hang up kitchen towels, trash cans for triage, among other little details for more comfort. Also, the entrance door is really noisy when people come in and out of the building. Unfortunately, most of them don't seem to realize there are people living there, or even sleeping. This was a reason to contact the host. Luckily, this was exceptional during our 10 days stay. There are systems to slow down closing doors so they close less hard. The ventilation system is also not optimal, because the wc is at the entrance of the appartement and a couple of times we noticed certain smell coming from the toilet. The diner is also very big and takes lots of space in the room.

Prima overnachting op doorreis!

Precies wat we nodig hadden op doorreis naar Les deux Alpes. Goede voorzieningen. In werkelijkheid beter dan op de foto’s. Tip: vervang de foto’s door recentere foto’s.

Klein minpuntje was de afwezigheid van beddengoed voor de slaapbank, maar dat hadden we gelukkig zelf bij ons. Geen probleem dus.

Grenoble per una notte ma merita una visita

La casa era molto pulita, fornita di tutto e in posizione comoda per arrivare in centro a piedi. Vicina a un piccolo supermarket ben fornito e a un’ottima boulangerie. Valore aggiunto il parcheggio privato gratuito. Aria condizionata funzionante e casa già fresca al nostro arrivo.

La parte del giardino carina, andava pulita un po’ meglio ma a noi non è servita xché eravamo di passaggio per una notte.

Ubicación correcta que permitía aparcar sin tener que pagar por ello.

Tenían una puerta que daba a un jardín/patio interior que no cerraba del todo. Habían bajado la persiana, pero daba cierta sensación de inseguridad.

- Bien placé - Pas cher - Supermarché à proximité (3min à pied à 2 rues) - Proche bus - Centre ville à 20min à pied - Clim et chauffage - Essentiels pour cuisiner

- Mauvaise communication : j’ai dû demander 3 fois le lien pour la caution sinon je n’avais pas accès au logement - Pas d’indication clair pour trouver le logement : quel étage, quelle porte, photo de l’immeuble etc (on a trouvé un boitier au hasard et on a essayé le code) - Pas de papier toilettes : 2 rouleaux de disponibles pour 4 nuits, 4 adultes - Pas de sel ni poivre : qu'on a trouvé à la fin du séjour dans un tiroir caché (mettez le en avant avec un post-it) - Bestioles au plafond (araignées, moucherons) et odeur d'égout dans la salle de bain - Dans l'ensemble l'appartement mériterait d'être nettoyé/entretenu (trace sur les murs, canapé & fauteuils tâchés/vieux, poussières dans les recoins de la sdb, terrasse abandonnée...)
