The property itself is fantastic. Spacious, comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen - it was so peaceful we never wanted to leave! Slept very deeply. We barely heard the neighbours - couldn't hear anything from downstairs, and while we would occasionally hear other people talking quietly outside, it wasn't unreasonable. The location is also excellent - Princeville is a quiet, safe community, and it's only a 10 minute drive from Hanalei and some great beaches and hiking. We spent most of our time up on the north side of the island.
The check-in experience was challenging. We arrived after dark, and it was extremely hard to find the unit.
- First, Google Maps sent us to the wrong address - make sure you check the signs on the road themselves for the correct address
- Then, it is VERY hard to find the path to the units once you have parked in the lot. Vacasa does not provide a map to help. We walked down one path and found unit #6, which we assumed was our unit. The code did not work on any of the lockboxes. We called Vacasa, and the agent we spoke with clearly had no clue about how to help us - he looked at the pictures online to try to help us find where to go, and then said he'd call the local property manager - we never heard back from him or the local property manager.
- Finally, we went back to the parking lot and found a map of the development next to the mailboxes, and found there was ANOTHER set of buildings with a DIFFERENT unit #6. From there, we were able to find the location with some difficulty (signage is small and almost hidden in the dark), but the lockbox code worked and we made it in.
So: when you arrive, especially if it's after dark, go to the set of mailboxes and look at the map on the wall!

This a great place, great location, very well equipped. Restaurants are close, you will need a car. Very quiet.
The only things were simple to update. The second bathroom needs some hooks to handle hanging towels to dry. Also a second light in the living room to a space light to do some reading.

The property was beautiful inside. Very bright and cheery.
There were no basic seasonings for cooking. There wasn’t enough toilet paper for our stay. Just things that I would think would be available while renting a condo.
