Ken's Place Azabudai

It was the most comfortable property that we stayed in our entire trip. Beds were comfortable, the shower was powerful. The whole layout of the apartment was compact but beautifully designed. There was a neat little kitchen, well equipped.

The location didn’t always map perfectly so some taxis couldn’t find it by address, better to search on its name.

The door code was sent the day before the check-in

The check in had to take a place again on site to confirm all the info I have input prior to the check in. And the check in machine had to take 20 second video after taking all of our face photos including children.

The location is good. A quiet spot in a prime location.

The room we had had a persistent moldy smell from the aircon unit. The hotel staff had tried their best to rectify it but the moldy smell continuous. The plastic flooring has some broken tiles near the bunker bed area and we had to be very careful when move around that area. My son almost tripped over it and scrapped by the sharp edge of the broken plastic tiles. It should have been fixed before the room was rent out. The pots, pans and utensil were were sticky. We had to clean them ourselves. The towels and bed linens were quite old and stained, which should have been replaced long ago. We had stayed in another Ken's Place property in Azabu-Juban before. It was a much better experience and prompted us to make this booking. However, there is a huge quality gap between the properties.
