Sabbia Suites Sea View La Playita

The apartment is in a great location and the views from the front/balcony are amazing. It was lovely to sit on the balcony early morning and again in the evening just watching people pass and taking in the views of the sea. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all of a good size - beds were very comfortable. Ideal apartment for the two of us - would easily accommodate 3 couples. Although it is over a bar the chatter of the customers was no problem in the evening. Generally it closed 11:30pm ish. Lots to like about this property and I can definitely recommend.

Arrived at Arricife airport in the evening 19:30 ish, and waiting for the taxi, realised we had still not received any message regarding the code for the key box! However, on messaging the property I was sent the code. Would have preferred not to have been worrying on arrival.

L'appartamento si trova in posizione strategica a Puerto del Carmen, con affaccio sul lungomare. E' molto spazioso, con 6 posti letti in totale e due bagni e troverete tutto l'occorrente. Dalla terrazza c'è una bellissima vista sul mare

L'unico aspetto negativo è che al piano terra ci sono dei locali quindi può capitare che salga un po' di puzza di cibo e che ci sia confusione alla sera

Nice to have 2 bathrooms

Location was great (apart from the bar below which was a little noisy one evening of the 5 we stayed). We liked Puerto del Carmen a lot. We loved the direct view out to the sea, and with a small beach just across the road. Kitchen well-equipped. Great to have two keys too.

The electricity cut out twice (not ideal when you’re in the shower in a bathroom in the hours of darkness!) - the first was corrected when the agent sent an engineer who turned everything off and on again at the fuse box, and I just copied what he had done the second time. The agents are looking at the problem so hopefully solved by the time you read this. We struggled with the WiFi network and password - this can easily be correct with a note of the network & password being in the apartment (our confusion was caused by there being 3 routers in the apartment and we didn’t notice the active one. I think the obsolete two have now been removed, but this wasted a lot of time, I feel the communication from the managing agents could have been much better. We were not given the access code until a minute or two after the check-in time, leaving me to wonder if we would actual get it at all - better communication of the process would have set expectations and removed the stress…or, better still, tell guests what the code will be in advance and say that it won’t be active until the agreed arrival time (I like to start the journey to a holiday destination with all the info required to access accommodation, this removes stress and helps to make a holiday enjoyable). Hairdryer not working.
