VILLA MAR Pocillos

Emplacement parfait. Proche de la plage et des commodités mais au calme egalement. Place de parking devant la maison. Voisinage calme. Villa spacieuse. Piscine parfaite et entretenue. Hote reactif sur chaque question et demande. Petit bonus de temps accordé au depart tres appreciable.

Il manque peut etre une poele pour cuisiner facilement. Matelas chambre parentale qui commence à être usé. Difficile de dormir dans le noir car villa très lumineuse et pas de volets. Mais ce sont des détails, car notre sejour c'est tres bien passé.

This is a large villa, bedrooms downstairs and 1 toilet. Upstairs is the dining area kitchen sitting room and balcony. Lovely outdoor area with large enough pool and plenty of seating. Washing machine

Ok, this is an aged property. There were some ants in the kitchen and we had two incidents of 2 cockroaches, I had stayed here before and knew this may be a thing so brought some spray. With that said it compared to our first stay the ant issue was 90% improved! We didn’t really eat in the villa so I feel this helped. I’d recommend a full refit upstairs if it would allow. No air con but fans provided. No change of linen whilst staying. Taxis, painful experience, you can get taxis by calling but they may or may not come, go down onto the main road and you can flag one down if you’re lucky. €5 each way for taxi into PDC ( to be dropped at Spoons) which is about 20 min walk, slight hills. Out to Matagorda is fairly flat again 20 mins depending how quick you are. There are two small steep hills up to the villa, if you like me struggle then this may be an issue. Spar is 5 mins away, along with a games arcade, an Indian and another restaurant There isn’t anywhere to have a nice breakfast down there though. There is massive potential for this villa and would be a great family place however I imagine the price would shoot up, for the price we paid it was fair.

It’s good value for money, the pool is great and the location is excellent.

Could do with a bit of an update, it’s looking a bit shabby, also the showers dont drain quick enough. We found it hard to have food or drink as there were ants everywhere. We spent every morning just scrubbing and making it clean to deter them. We have used this villa twice now and it is good value for money but after this I don’t think I’d use it again.
