Had a lovely overnight stay in peaceful surroundings

Lovely breakfast. Nice quiet location within easy reach of Vernon and Giverny.

Comfortable room with generous breakfast in quiet area, but with easy access to Vernon and Giverny.

We received a friendly welcome and the host recommended an excellent restaurant in Vernon. The room was comfortable and the breakfast provided was generous and tasty. There is space for car parking.It is well situated for visiting Giverny the next day.

We have no complaints. We enjoyed our stay.

Magnifique

Everything about this property was Par Excellence ! we could not have expected more except that we wish we had stayed longer perhaps our next visit. It is in close proximity to Giverny and the home of Claude Monet which the host very kindly reminded us. Use of the kitchen and breakfast was extremely good the gardens just magnificient and the the very welcoming orchestra of the Frogs in the lilly pond was a rather a pleasant lullaby at night. Excellently presented .

There was nothing really not to like. Except that one point would be to check the shower base in the Iris room which was slightly shaky and the host may not be aware of this.

Very friendly welcome, English spoken if needed. Clear instructions received prior to check-in re gate entry. Accommodation just outside village in quiet location. Bedrooms in annexe building in pretty garden. Warm bedroom. Firm bed. Clean. Good shower. Continental breakfast delivered each morning into shared dining room adjacent to bedrooms. Shared dining room well-equipped with coffee machine, kettle, fridge. Very well organised operation. A very enjoyable stay.

Annexe building in shade, although this would be very cool on hot summer days. Two hard chairs in room, so a comfortable chair to sit and read would be a bonus.

Ideal stopover for visiting Monet's home at Giverny

Best B&B ever stayed at anywhere. Charming host, pretty rural location, excellent facilities (in- and outdoors), good breakfast. As French-speaking Francophiles, with a home in France, it was everything that we were looking for in a French B&B. Very convenient for Giverny (Monet's home), better than hotels on previous occasions, and we will use it again on our next (at least 7th) visit there

Such a lovely atmosphere and charming family. I loved the location and the ducks and friendly cat and dog who enjoys swimming so much she swims around in the pond every day Guests free to use fridge etc and son particularly helpful in recommending places to visit. Monet’s garden a highlight but beautiful chateau and villages and countryside

Beautiful tranquil setting in lovely gardens next to host's house. Three mini apartments in the building shown with a shared kitchenette and dining area. Very comfortable night and very good breakfast provided including baguettes, pain au chocolat, yoghurts and fruit. Host very friendly and helpful.

Reasonably priced, booked late as our other booking cancelled on us.

The shared kitchenette with microwave and cooker, so you could prepare/heat up an evening meal if you wanted to.

The bedroom only just fitted the bed in! The small lake looked like a mud bath.

Great Location

Great location for Giverny. Loved the outside space. It meant we could have a picnic there instead of having to go out and find restaurants. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed staying there.

An excellent place to stay near Monet's House and Garden. We would have enjoyed staying here longer.

Our host was very helpful and friendly. When we came later than originally expected, he was very understanding. He prepared a nice breakfast for us with lovely fresh fruit and breads. The place was charming!

The location was nice, private free parking

One of the 2 reserved rooms was very very small. In the reservation was written for both rooms 30 m The breakfast was “Basic”. Not as defined in the hotel description-No buffet at all .

Lit confortable, chambre propre et calme.

Nous n'avons pas beaucoup apprécié les viennoiseries sans doute décongelés. Nous aurions préféré avoir plus de pain. Un fruit frais et un peu de fromage auraient été les bienvenus. En fait nous pensions avoir à faire à un B&B classique avec un accueil à l'arrivée et un petit déjeuner servi par les propriétaires avec des produits maison confiture, gâteau... un accueil personnalisé plutôt qu'un mail expliquant tout le fonctionnement. On se sentait beaucoup plus proche d'un Airbnb, ce qui n'était pas ce que nous recherchions.

Un'oasi di pace vicino a Giverny

Tranquillissimo, con un giardino da sogno e in un'ottima posizione, vicino a Giverny. La colazione era ottima e la camera confortevole e spaziosa.

Metterei una porta alla doccia, per il resto nulla da dire.
