We had to place a booking in the middle of the night due to an urgent situation in our own home in Ostia. Host answered quickly and approved booking. Right on the piazza, very clean, modern.

We stayed five nights and had a wonderful stay. It was so clean with beautiful light from all the windows that look out on the square and the beach. Above Rivareno! Ate so much delicious gelato. And most of all our host was incredibly hospitable.

We stayed at a beautiful apartment right in the very center, directly on the piazza and just a few steps from the sea. The building itself was old and majestic, yet the apartment was modern, clean, nicely air-conditioned, and fully equipped with all amenities – even a thoughtful welcome gift.
Our host was wonderful: she gave us directions (and even when I managed to get lost in Ostia 😅), and kindly allowed us to drop off our luggage before the apartment was ready. That small gesture made our arrival so much easier and more enjoyable.
The only downside was that we couldn’t enjoy the sea view, as the building was under reconstruction and there was scaffolding at the windows. Hopefully next time we'll be able to enjoy also the view. But apart from that, everything was excellent, and we truly appreciated the comfort and location.

Seems to be a good choice because of central place but this became to the biggest issue. The owner is kind, air conditioning is appreciated, bathroom is modern.
Despite the modern windows you cannot sleep well because of the noise coming from restaurants, gelatteria, cleaning and service cars and machines. The second worst is the bed in the bedroom, covered with not comfortable sheet containing plastic to avoid the mattress (just a guess). We are not children, a simple white cotton sheet would avoid to sweet all night. During COVID the salt , sugar and sponge should be always new or unopened.
