Absolutely wonderful

The cottage is in the most picturesque setting I have ever stayed. Everything was absolutely perfect. I didn’t want to leave.

There is nothing to dislike. I think the bedroom ceiling could be a problem for tall guests

Absolutely glorious! Didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful location. Absolutely spotless. Peaceful. Wonderful views. Excellent for bird watching. The ducks and their daily visits for breakfast - they very much make themselves at home! It was a perfect recovery spot after we completed the Etape Caledonia, with beautiful walks nearby. Highly recommend going up to the waterfall, dipping your toes with a picnic!

Seating in the living area could be more comfortable. Provision of blankets would be lovely for those evenings sat outside by the river. The bedroom got quite hot with the glorious weather we had - perhaps a small fan would useful.

We felt welcome.

Beautiful and cozy little house. We liked the location and view of the river. A peaceful place where you can watch birds and sheep. There was everything we needed. The welcome package included coffee and tea and much more, and the house had all the cleaning supplies you could need. There were logs for the fireplace and the grill was easy to use. Good instructions for arrival and recycling, for example. I hope we can come back some day and stay longer.

We had to search for the Wifi code for a while before we found it. Steep stairs and low ceiling upstairs may cause inconvenience to some, although it didn't bother us.

Cottage had a lovely modern interior,but was still cosy.Excellent riverside location ,loved watching the wildlife.Had everything that you needed to enjoy your stay.Lots of places to visit within easy access of A9.

Had a problem with gas supply to all the cottages ,but we were offered alternative accommodation on the estate and were able to enjoy the rest of our break away.

Nice wee cottage

Cottage was fantastic, had everything you needed. Wood burner was good to have. Location on the river bank was just lovely and so quiet.

The really only negative was if you wanted to watch a bit of television in the evenings to relax from a full day out it was poor! Lack of any real channels that worked so not great!

Great location, cosy cottage with everything you need. Very relaxing and going back at Xmas time to the 2 bedroom cottage(Heron) and really looking forward to it. Also booked for next summer. Staff all very friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful quiet retreat in nature

We absolutely loved our stay at Osprey Cottage. The location, cottage and local area were perfect for us and our lab puppy! The Estate office were really helpful with instructions at the start of our visit and the cottage was perfectly clean with all the modern touches needed. The Internet quality was great and we had phone signal - which was an unexpected bonus! Fabulous views of the river and Salmon jumping with some wonderful walks to see deer and other wildlife on the doorstep. We can't wait to return to the cottage and local area in the future!

There was nothing we didn't like really! Only minor points would be that there is another cottage being built nextdoor and the builders were on site during our stay, which we weren't aware of before our stay. However, they were really lovely and accommodating by making sure the noise levels were minimal and we barely knew they were there.
