Best place we stayed on, best hosts

This was a huge surprise, the hosts were simply amazing, made us really feel at home, the breakfasts are the best we had on our trip, and don’t miss on the dinner too, it is really good. The place is near a clear fountain that you can swim in and that is almost always all yours, and the house is very close to everything. I highly recommend it and I am certain we’ll be back!

Cosy homestay in quiet green valley with great hosts!

The friendly owners, the home cooked meals from Stana, how quiet it was at night! Also comfy bed. And there’s a little river 5 min walk away to swim in with super clean water and a 5 min drive into Virpazar. The owner arranged a private boat tour with his cousin Ivan (who was super friendly and knowledgable, and spoke perfect English!)

Good accommodation and a wonderful environment and hosts, which makes it a perfect place.

The hosts were amazing. We had a very friendly welcome. The appartment was not easy to find, but we called the owners and they picked us up and guided us towards the appartment. Our children loved the different animals (chickens, dog, cats, cow) and even witnessed when the cow was milked. We had breakfast and dinner there and it was lovely. There is also an amazing little place to swim in the river nearby, which makes it a perfect location. We had some nice and relaxing chats with the owners, many thanks again!

Highly recommended for nature lovers!

Budo and Strana are outstanding hosts, house new and well equipped. Quiet and pastoral location offering a farm atmosphere with cow, goats, sheep and chickens. Excellent home cooked dinner is optional.

Wonderful!

We've especially enjoy the owner's kindness and availibility. He and his wife were very attentive to our wishes, for instance for breakfasts and dinners which were very generous with vegetable from their garden. Budo, the owner, proposed to come with us for hiking : the landscape is very beautiful around the house and Budo was a very friendly guide. He effectively helped us to set up a boat tour on the Skadar Lake. Even if the equipment of the flat is not totally perfect, we enjoyed a lot our stay there thanks to Budo and his wife's excellent availibility. We recommend a lot this rental for future guests.

Exceptional

Honestly, we didn't know what to expect - according to pics from net it should be OK. After navigation said you reached your destination, you need to drive for another 300 m or so. You will get to the new bridge and after crossing it you are on location. What to say? Feels like home! It is new house (2 or 3 years old). Appartment is very cozy. Although I was sleeping on the couch it was super comfy. It is really clean, with all interior and things you need. Second best thing is all the nature around right when you step out. They have garden with tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, watermelons, chickens, goats... it is natural. Behind the house it is a small river, where you can cool your feet. Kids enjoy it very much. The best "thing" are the hosts. Super kind and helpfull. They speak english fluently. Had one of the best breakfast there. In the terrace by the garden, with home grown vegetables, local cheese and still hot home backed small breads, honey from the hive app. 150 m away,... I really hope they will stay as they are. Would really recommend it to families or to all those who wants to see how life can be in natural way. Will return for sure.

Exceptional environement

The owner came to the city center when we said him we could not find the house. It was really nice, spacious, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom very clean. The breakfast with the Turkish coffee was excellent. The environment around the house was beautiful.

Les hôtes étaient très gentils et serviables. L’endroit est magnifique et les enfants ont adoré les animaux sur place. Nous avons fait une randonnée pour voir la cascade très belle et nous étions seuls. Le petit déjeuner était copieux. En plus, mon fils est reparti avec un jouet, il était très content. Vriendelijke, behulpzame gastheer, die engels sprak en ons zelfs toen we alweer weg waren heeft geholpen met tolken bij autopech. Mooie locatie vlakbij Virpazar. Lekker ontbijt. We hadden wel langer willen blijven als het in ons reisplan had gepast.

Fantastische hosts

We hebben een fijne tijd gehad in Riverside, vooral dankzij de vriendelijke eigenaren en de verse ontbijtjes, die iedere ochtend anders waren. De eigenaren waren ontzettend behulpzaam, wat we extra merkten toen mijn zoontje een dag ziek was en zij hielpen met alles wat we nodig hadden (ik kreeg zelfs probiotica van ze). Vaak boden ze wat lekkers aan, zoals raki, een biertje of een enorm stuk watermeloen. Ook stonden ze altijd klaar met tips over de omgeving of boden ze zelfs aan ons baar de waterval te brengen, echt super. De faciliteiten zijn prima en een van de kamers is goed te koelen met airco. De eigenaresse heeft ons een keer een heerlijke maaltijd voorgeschoteld, dat zou ik ook echt aanraden! Veel dank voor alles.

Het enige wat mij een beetje tegenviel, is dat de locatie nu niet heel geschikt is om te koken, omdat de faciliteiten daar niet volledig voor zijn geïnstalleerd. En mijn tip zou zijn om Apple Maps te gebruiken om de locatie te vinden, want Google Maps brengt je naar een heel andere plek. Wij werden uiteindelijk door iemand due in de buurt woonde naar de juiste plek begeleid, die overigens erg makkelijk te vinden is als je het eenmaal weet.

Idyllische Lage und Gastgeber mit Herz

Super saubere Wohnung. Sehr leckeres, lokales und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück und auch das optionale Abendessen können wir nur empfehlen. Unser Sohn hat seinen Angst vor Hunden abgelegt weil der Hofhund so entspannt war. Kommunikation auf Englisch bereits vorab ohne Probleme und Vor Ort sowieso immer ansprechbar. Auf unseren Wunsch wurde eine private Bootstour organisiert. Entsprach genau unserer Vorstellung ohne die Touristenfänger direkt im Ort. Ich kann es nur jedem Empfehlen!

Nous avons été accueillis par Strana et Budo qui nous ont tout de suite proposé de nous préparer le dîner. Excellent et très très copieux. La propreté le confort et la situation de l’appartement étaient parfaites. Petits déjeuners préparé minute et délicieux. Calme avec les animaux ( chats, chien, poules, chèvres) les enfants étaient heureux !!
