Large, cozy home with everything that you need for your stay.

Our communication with the host, Johan, was excellent from the time of booking and throughout our stay. He was very kind , thorough and shared lots of information about the area. The house is huge with a total of 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms which can accomodate upto 16 peope. The teenagers loved the games room on the top floor which has a pool table and lounge area. We particulary loved the living room and dining room area (seats 10-12 comfortably) which is super cosy , underfloor heating keeps it toasty during the cold winter months with an additional wood burner and it overlooks a lovely garden. The top floor bedroom and games room have electric heaters which you will need to pre-heat the rooms as it is cold up there during the winter but they are sufficient. The kitchen is super equipped and has everything that you need, a home from home really. A very peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of the city, toasting marchmallows, family board games and star gazing. Shops and restaurants are a 8-10 minute drive and there's a lovely hike closeby around the lake at Neufchateau.

I don't actually want to say anything negative because we had such a lovely stay here. Only one thing that I would comment on are the beds in the top floor bedroom, the matresses are on the thin side and it's not so comfortable but there are plenty of extra duvets for you to put underneath the fitted sheet to make it more comfy. But honestly, apart from that, everything was perfect.

Alles wat je nodig hebt

De buitenkant van de woning doet iets anders vermoeden, maar… Ruim vakantiehuis met goed uitgeruste keuken, mooie, grote ruimtes. De tieners waren blij met de bovenste verdieping met pooltafel! Alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar met wie je vlot via bericht kan communiceren! Top!

De koelkast kon properder en de pannen zijn aan vervanging toe (tefal afgesleten). En -zoals al eerder opgemerkt door anderen- de verhouding tafel-stoelen is niet ergonomisch.

Rustig, ruim en comfortabel huis.

We verbleven er 4 dagen met een vriendengroep (3 gezinnen). Het huis is zeer ruim, gezellig en comfortabel. Rustige ligging. In elk dorpje in de regio zijn er een 3tal mooie uitgestippelde wandelingen. Contact met verhuurder verloopt zeer vlot en efficiënt.

Toll für große Gruppen

Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, es gibt genug Platz, Ofen, Billardtisch...einfach schön für große Gruppen.

Familienfreundliche schöne Unterkunft

Eine sehr schöne und Große Küchenzeile und ein großer Bereich, wo alle am tisch essen können. Der Garten zum Spielen für die Kinder und zum Verweilen der Erwachsene. Ein sehr schön gestaltetes Großes Badezimmer und jeder hatte sein eigenen Schlafbereich. Liebevoll eingerichtet und alles was man braucht Vorhanden. Sehr schön gelegen in der Natur! Man konnte sehr gut zur Ruhe kommen und wir haben nachts die Sternschnuppen zählen können!

Leider war das ein oder andere Defekt oder abgenutzt.

Un séjour convivial dans une maison spacieuse et fonctionnelle!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Repaire Ardennais. La maison est très spacieuse, bien pensée et parfaitement fonctionnelle, ce qui la rend idéale pour les séjours en groupe ou en famille. Le billard est un vrai plus, parfait pour des soirées conviviales. Le service est complet, avec les draps de lit et les draps de bain fournis, ce qui est très appréciable. La communication avec le propriétaire a été fluide et rapide : très réactif, il a su répondre à toutes nos questions avec efficacité. Le gîte est idéalement situé au cœur d’une magnifique région, parfaite pour les balades, les découvertes nature et les activités de plein air. Une adresse à recommander les yeux fermés !

La table de la salle n’est pas tout à fait à la bonne hauteur pour les tabourets, mais cela n’a en rien entaché notre expérience.

We hebben erg genoten van onze tijd samen en de mooie omgeving.

De gezellige verlichting van de woonkamer, ook de Amerikaanse frigo was een topper.

Er waren enkele defecten, zoals de dampkap en de douche op de bovenste etage.

Top verblijf voor ontdekking van de Ardense pracht

geweldige ligging in hartje Ardennen, perfecte uitvalsbasis om natuur en hot spots te ontdekken, veel ruimte binnen en buiten voor activiteiten met het gezin. Het mooie weer doet natuurlijk ook veel!
