Sunny 4 Bedroom Apartment - with View

Very spacious apartment and well equipped. Location was also very convenient for us to use as a base to explore. We came from the Algarve and the train station was literally a few minutes away. Plenty of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. We used Ubers a fair bit too which were always available and well priced. Wifi was great too which was a must for me as I was still working remotely! Would definitely recommend.

Not really dislikes, just suggestions...a few more pillows, washing up bowl, non slip shower mat and extra mugs would have been useful. Apart from that all was excellent!

Very spacious, located close to bus terminals and supermarket, short walk into city centre. Great views. We were met by the friendly host upon our arrival.

Only issue we had was that the kettle tripped the electrics, so we had to boil water on hob. The host has been advised so hopefully, this will be resolved 🙏

We were received by Mr. Hélio, very friendly host who showed us the apartment and explained everything. The apartment is big and spacious, we were 3 people and never felt crowded. It’s very well located, close to every thing, shops, banks, supermarkets, bus and train stations. All the rooms had fans and heaters, we didn’t use them but it was nice to have, we just opened the balcony doors and dining room windows and the apartment was cool and fresh. The view was also a plus, we found a place near by great for walks right by the river Mondego.

The apartment is old with wooden floors and has a serious ant issue, we left our grocery bags on the kitchen counter, went out and when we came back they had been invaded by an army of ants. Furthermore, one of the bedrooms had the same issue, we found ants on the bed and sheets. At night the building entrance and surroundings were covered with roaches, I believe from a broken sewage pipe right at the building door, it was very unpleasant to see. The bottom fridge door was not functional, which caused the freezer to produce excess ice so we couldn’t open the freezer drawers. We had to store our ice-cream on the top part so it melted completely. And lastly, the beds in the first two rooms were very uncomfortable.
