Carlos met us at the parking garage and then drove us to the apartment. The apartment was convenient for exploring Coimbra and close to restaurants and shopping. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated being able to use the washer and dryer. At the end of our stay, Carlos was kind enough to meet us at the apartment and walked us back to the garage. Very considerate host.

It's a fantastic location in easy walking distance of the university, botanical gardens and other sights of Coimbra. The balcony is a wonderful place to watch the sunset and the river. The apartment is clean and comfortable, has air-conditioning and good cooking facilities. Carlos is a great host and really loves his home city.

The location is good, Thats the only thing we liked

Contrary to most people we didn’t like the studio. It was dark, dated “red sink and bathroom tiling”. !!the bathroom had a damp feeling as other reviewers have said. The window was very high so room seemed dark and lots dark wood too . Trying to be everything and to us it was like sleeping in your kitchen and looking at washer machine and dryer . The location is good and size of studio fine it needs a make over to separate the areas. We extended our stay in Coimbra and stayed in another studio nearby before and the layout and decor so wonderful by comparison We moved as this was not available ongoing.
