Beds & pillows were not very comfortable. Hot water did not last for our showers 🥶 Would’ve liked to of had a dryer to go along with the clothes washer. We were traveling with 8 people for 3 weeks and were hoping to do laundry at our houses we had booked at some of our stops.

There was nothing to like about this to be honest. The people that have left good reviews list have very, very low standards in life. Our group does not. Read the bad reviews and then times it by ten. If you love to be uncomfortable then this is for sure your place! Every single very tiny bed has huge indented and springs that will hive you the best nights sleep. You won’t be able to hang up anything in any bathroom, you won’t get a towel to put on the ground after a shower. If you are lucky, maybe you will not have dirty sheeted and debris on your sheets. If you do shower, good luck, they are literally 2’x2’ And if you’re a woman, you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SHAVE YOUR LEGS!! If I was paid to stay at this place. I woo don’t even consider it. The pictures are very misleading in every way. Most things are broken, head boards, curtains, etc. The only thing I can say about this place is the locations is good. If you are of a higher class in life, this is not your place. If you are of a poorer class in life, this is right up your alley. Would kitchens this place to anyone that wants to be clean and comfortable.

We were a party of 8 so there was plenty of room with 5 bedrooms with bathrooms.

The bed we slept in was terrible. It was just a worn out mattress on slats, the edges were hard and you could feel the inner springs when you laid down. We had quite a time getting into the apartment as there were 2 and we didn’t know which was ours. I reached out to the owner several times concerning a hair dryer but no response.

The place has a lot of potential, but could use some small changes to make it a good value.

The location was excellent and it was clean. The family room had plenty of seating and was comfortable.

The property has the potential to be great with a few inexpensive additions/fixes…there is no place to hang a towel in all but one bathroom, there should be hooks added to each door, so damp towels can be hung after a shower. As mentioned in another review, there is no bath mat or extra towel for the floor when you step out of the shower. The showers are so small that it’s difficult to wash your hair and don’t even think about shaving your legs ladies. The 2 cooking pans they have are so scraped and rusted, they can’t be used and should be thrown out, there was no cutting board and no sharp knife to cut fruits and vegetables. We had to buy a knife, cutting board and a pan and left them there so hopefully the next guest will have them. I mentioned this to the host and got no response. We found the beds stiff and uncomfortable, however some people like very firm mattresses, so I recognize this is a personal preference. The light in the family room had 3 bulbs out, making it very dim and the blinds were broken for the only window in there as well, so there was no way to open them, adding to the dark feel during the daytime. The place is advertised to have 5 double beds and bikes you can use. This is not true. One of the bedrooms is VERY small and only fits a twin mattress. So there are 4 doubles and one twin in a closet sized room. I asked about the bikes on our second day there and never got a reply. This was one of the reasons we chose this place since it’s a little further out (we had a couple teenagers who planned to use them to get around and explore easier). Adding an inexpensive hair dryer would be a nice touch as well so people don’t have to pack one. Most places to this now and everywhere else we have stayed has had one, especially for a house of this size. If this house was as advertised and had a couple minor additions, like hooks, bath mats, and functioning kitchen tools, I would have felt better about the value/cost.

The house was great and in a quiet location, with a very attentive owner.

The house is large and can accommodate a lot of people with plenty of bathrooms. The owner was very proactive in reaching out and making sure we could check in even though booking.com was having issues that day. We enjoyed having a large living room to relax in.

The location overlooking the bay is nice, but it is right by the Greyhound stadium, which could be a concern on game days (not an issue for us). It is also located away from the main town and is a solid 15 minute hike to the train station/Eyre Square, which bothered my wife.

Could be cute, but needs a DEEEEEP cleaning & basic upkeep.

Kitchen was stocked & great to cook a meal. Great walking distance to downtown.

Bathroom air vents don’t appear to have ever been cleaned (see photos). Bathrooms need toilet paper holders, hand towel holders & hooks for towels to dry. This would be helpful because towels were a rare commodity. Our group had 2 “unused” bed spaces & 1 towel per person (essentially short 2 towels). Less than 1 hand towel per person provided & no wash cloths for a 2 night stay. There aren’t bath mats, so you’ve to dry the floor with your towel (& they don’t look like they’ve been cleaned a while either). Showers are very tight. If you drop the soap (assuming they provided any), you won’t be able to pick it up. Our group ranges in height from 6’7” to 5’4” & it was difficult for all to shower. No shower soap (we used kitchen hand soap) or hair dryers. Twin bedroom overhead light and lamp weren’t working, so there was no light in the room. Recommend removing wardrobe & replace with suitcase rack and some hooks to hang clothes. Back bedroom with queen bed mattress felt like it was only a box spring & the room was very tight. The bedroom is so tight you can’t use the mirror. In the living room, 2 of 5 bulbs worked & the cord to the window shade was broken. No coffee though. :( Notable there is a rugby stadium being built across the street which could be a pro/con depending on your purpose for visiting. Busy streets on both sides which made it difficult to sleep since the windows need to be open since there isn’t AC. Place has a lot of potential with deeper thought of functionality, better general maintenance & a good cleaning.

Couldnt work any tv. Windows filthy, no dish/tea towels. 1 bed had dirty sheet. Bathrooms too tiny, very old. No shelves. No railings for towels. No bath mats. 2 bedrooms can't fit a suitcase of any size. 3 teaspoons for 5 people. No tea, coffee, shampoo. Or shower gel.

Very good location. 15 minute walk from Latin quarter. Updated facilities. WiFi 4 toilets. Kitchen. Washing machine Although there is constructive feedback for the property it’s a good place to stay.

I didn’t see any bikes as the property stated. Also, we had access to the back garden, but there was someone sitting there and parking there. So I’m not sure why we would have access to something we can’t use or sit. No frying pan or salt and pepper for cooking. Beds were very uncomfortable. One thin pillow per person on the beds. There is a clothes washer but no dryer, and because it rained the whole time we had no way of drying our clothes. We couldn’t use the pan in the oven as it was crusted with build up from previous cooking. The door handle on the door to the sitting room fell off when we opened the door. We reattached the handle to a toilet.

QUICK BUCK OWNERS LOOKING TO SHAFY YA INTO THINKING ITS A GREAT AIRBNB, NOT OK.

THE LOCATION WAS GREAT AND THE PARK OUT BACK ACROSS THE ROAD WAS GOOD TO HAVE, KIDS LOVED THAT. ALMOST EVERY BEDROOM HAD A BATHROOM WHICH WAS GREAT.

THIS HOUSE IS REALLY NOT WELL SUITED FOR A LARGER FAMILY BECAUSE YOU CAN TELL THAT THE OWNER REALLY DID PURCHASE THIS HOUSE TO EARN A QUICK BUCK AND OR TWO. LET'S CRAM AS MANY PEOPLE INTO IT AND FOR SLEEPING ONLY, BEDROOMS ARE TIGHT WITH TINY BATHROOMS, I MEAN THE SHOWERS ARE MAYBE 2'X2' SQ AND THE SINKS ARE AS BIG AS YOUR HANDS, COMPLETE MADNESS REALLY. THE KITCHEN IS TIGHT WITH NO DRAWERS FOR THE UTENSILS OR MUCH STORAGE AT ALL. THE FRIDGE FREEZER WAS FROZZEN OVER AND NOT THAWED OUT FOR US, SO COULD NOT OPEN DRAWERS INSIDE, AND LISTEN THAT WASHING MACHINE IS ON OVERDRIVE, IT RAN FOR NO JOKE 24HRS ON EACH CYCLE AND THE CLOTHES WERE STILL A MESS. THE OWNERS NEED TO CLEAN UP THIS PLACE AND MAKE IT PRESENTABLE, ESPECIALLY THE FRONT ENTRY / COURTYARD AREA, WHAT A MESS IT REALLY LOOKS. 3K FOR 6 NIGHTS IN JULY WAS OVER THE TOP FOR THIS PLACE, WE WOULD NOT STAY AGAIN.

Amazing location with fantastic hosts! The property was very clean and had everything you may need for your stay. Plus, the view out onto the bay was something else!

Location was excellent. Walking distance from the town (10 mins) beds were very comfortable and clean and house was a good size for our family. Originally great contact with host, especially when we couldn't get into house and I had to call her.

There was a strong odour in kitchen when we arrived. Faded in time but we had to purchase air fresheners. Water pump made a constant noise every couple of minutes. Wasn't very noticeable during day but was at night. Did report this to host but didn't receive a reply. Also we arrived after check in time and weren't allowed in as cleaner was still there.

The house is new and nice. It's easy to find and there's a lot of space.

We arrived 20 minutes early and the cleaning lady was still there, far from finishing cleaning, almost all the house was still really dirty which is really weird only 20 minutes before the arrival time. We booked the house and informed that they would be at least 8 people staying, however there was only 4 towels... We had to share towels between ourselves which absolutely unhygienic, but we had no other choices. One of the bedroom was not cleaned, the bed was only half-done and there was dust everywhere. The boiler/or whatever that was, was making noise all night and it was really hard to sleep with that permanent noise. TV in all rooms were advertised, one didn't have any, and two rooms had the TV hidden between wardrobes so it was impossible to use it. The water from the shower was boiling hot, the mixer wasn't working in 3 bathrooms out of 4. One of us got no water coming out of the pipe right in the middle of taking a shower. For almost 500e a night....that's not at all what you would expect from a house. Having towels, and functioning showers are basics.
