Best Location!

Location, location, location. Unbelievable to be a couple blocks away from the main square of Galway. Shopping, entertainment, restaurants, and pubs, and yet it was a very quiet street. The cottage had all the necessities. It was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend it!

Fantastic location, problem shower.

Easy to get keys from lockbox, excellent location. The only reason to book here is location.

The shower is terrible. We were glad we were only staying one night as it was unacceptable. I should have read more reviews which I now see mention the shower issues.

If you don’t care about aesthetic, and prefer location and cooking convenience it’s doable

The place is located in a fantastic spot. It is easy to get to from transit, and perfect for those who want to be close to all the tourist spots. Grocery stores are super close. You can hear the music from The Hole In the Wall, a nice way to experience it from your home. The host was wonderful for communication. Easy to reach, ask questions and accommodating. The kitchen was handy, we cooked all our meals. It saved us a lot of money, which helped balance out the cost of being close to town. Very handy.

It felt a little run down, not in top shape. Molding caulking, main floor is well worn and the boards aren’t together. But does this impact the stay no, its aesthetic. There was a smell on the main floor when we first arrived either mildew or cat urine, the kind of smell that has been there for a long time. Keeping the windows open helped a lot, you couldn’t tell if they were open. We had no hot water downstairs ever, I did reach out and was told about the switch, it was on the whole time we were there and I just had to do the boost option each time I was looking to wash dishes or run the dishwasher. The plug also didn’t work in the sink, we used the large pot instead. The shower upstairs leaks also, we were constantly drying the sopping floor towel. We had the same hot and cold issues other residents mentioned.

Really nice flat, well stocked with cooking essentials, comfy furniture and beds. Perfectly located near the night life and food, just a short walk from the Latin quarter. Communicative host

Shower would ocillate between extremely cold and extremely hot and did not maintain consistent temp. Toilet also didn't flush well

Snug cottage in central location.

Lovely compact cottage in central location.

Bedrooms were pretty snug. It is typical in UK and Ireland just to have a duvet with no top sheet so if bedroom is a bit warm you are either too hot or too cold. Sometimes just a sheet means you are the right temperature. Duvets seem always to have polyester type fillings here which are often too hot .... Shower was a bit weak. Expensive to park on street during the day....

Dirty, uncomfortable and not properly reflected by pictures. would not stay there again!

it was dirty. smelled like a cat had been staying there. stains on the couch downstairs, lamp shade dirty. sheets felt like paper, I have never felt sheets like that before in my life. bathroom had hole in ceiling with cord coming from it for shower, with no explanation on how to use. washer worked but dryer did not so had a load of wet cloths to take to our next location. pictures not reflect of place and conditions.

Lovely Little Location for exploring Galway.

This lovely little house is the perfect location for exploring Galway. Everything is within walking distance. Mary is quick to respond and the cleaner helped us out when we arrived a little early.

You are really paying for location. The house itself is pretty basic, missing the little luxuries that justify the extra price.

Charming, cozy cottage walkable to all the great shopping and nightlife in Galway. I would happily stay here again.

Great location, walkable to everything. Nicely remodeled main floor with a cute outdoor space in back.

Beds are small. If you have a tall person in your group they will probably be most comfortable on the couch. Be aware of the strict no-refund, no date-change policy.

This stay was perfect! It was cute and cozy, with lots of room for everyone. The location was amazing! I'd definitely recommend this.

The only downside was the shower. The water switched from ice cold to scolding hot the entire time.

The house was so clean and really well presented. You could tell the owner put a lot of care and attention in to the house. The location was perfect and there was nearby parking less than 5 minutes walk away.

Beautiful, warm house which felt like a home. Nicely decorated and easy to warm up and keep cosy. It would be great to mention the extra blankets available downstairs in the couch as they were very handy. I liked that there was a straightener and hair dryer along with make up pads and micellar water, so so handy and thoughtful. A wonderful location in a lovely little house. We will definitely be coming again next year.

the heating instructions and potentially the cooler could have a bit more detailed as they were a bit fiddly.

Die Lage ist gut.

Die Unterkunft ist für 4 Personen etwas klein. Es gibt im Eintrittsbereich keine Mögluchkeit (evtl. nasse)Jacken aufzuhängen. Im oberen Bereich fehlen Schrank oder Regale um Sachen abzulegen. Wir mussten die Sachen im Koffer in der Wohnküche lassen. Das Apartment ist feucht, das spürt man an der Kleidung und außerdem kann man es auch riechen. Bettwäsche (Haare, Make up-Spuren) Geschirrtücher, sowie der Teppich im oberen Bereich waren bei der Ankunft schmutzig. Es war nur 1 Duschtuch pro Person vorhanden. Es fehlten die Gesichtshandtücher, die nach Anfrage nachgereicht wurden. Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden in Ablagenischen aufbewahrt, wo sämtlicher Vorrat (Reinigungsmuttel usw.) gelagert wird. So ist es nicht verwunderlich, wenn die Wäsche und Handtücher nicht sauber sind und dementsprechend riechen. Für den Preis den man bezahlt, sollten so grundlegende Dinge einfach passen!! Wenn andere Dinge nicht genau gereinigt sind, kann man darüber hinweg sehen. Insgesamt fühlten wir uns im Apartment leider nicht wohl!

Salle de bains ou rien ne va: lavabo bouché (mais un plombier est venu après 24h le déboucher), toilettes dont la chasse d eau est quasi hors service, douche et lavabo sans pression. Propreté très limite Un des lits est trop court (pour un adulte d 1m65!!) Pas d accueil de l hôte Rapport qualité prix catastrophique: c est notre hôtel le + cher sur tout notre voyage en Irlande et le seul pour lequel on a une mauvaise expérience!
