This romantic gem is located on the East side of Hwy 1 resting up on the hillside and offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, meadow, and a forest. It is a two-bedrooms, two-baths 1200 sqft home with a loft ideal for two couples or a small family to enjoy. Curl up on the comfy custom built window seats, next to a wood burning fireplace, with a book or a board game. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled on the horizon for whale spouts. Snuggle with your loved ones as you enjoy your favorite show on large 65 inch TV with streaming services such as Netflix and Disney Plus. Enjoy your favorite beverage or BBQ on the deck overlooking the ocean historic Knipp-Stengel White Barn. The fully equipped remodeled kitchen is ready for home cooking. While you are a guest at the Sea Ranch you will have access to 3 recreational centers (Moonraker on the south end, Ohlson in the middle and Del Mar on the north) – together offer heated swimming pools, tennis and picket ball courts, gardens, basketball and volleyball areas, locker rooms and saunas. The Sea Ranch offers 6 sandy beaches, marine preserves, stables, more than 50 miles of hiking trails along the shore, through the meadows, the hills and forest and bicycling on private roads. We had a great 5-night stay at this cute cottage by the sea. The views were amazing and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We loved exploring the nearby hiking trails and beaches. The kitchen was well equipped and had most of the items we needed. There aren't a lot of restaurants around so we cooked most of our meals. The heaters kept the home cozy even though it was the middle of winter during our visit. The home has had some updating to the kitchen and bathroom sinks. It was very pet friendly. There were food and water bowls provided, also a toy and dog waste bags too. There are lots of great areas to bring your dog in the neighborhood and there is also a dog park a short drive away. I don't believe it had it listed in the description, but the owner requests that pets are not left unattended in the home. One warning for taller people is the shower heads are very low, so if you are taller than maybe 5'6 it would be tricky (I am short so it didn't effect my experience). Even though the showers have not been renovated, they did get nice and hot, which is important to me.The mattress downstairs was comfortable but the bedframe was very creaky, so you may want to bring earplugs if you have a sleep partner that moves around. Overall, we would stay at this house again in the future when returning to this area. Thank you for a nice New Year's week!

The kitchen is well stocked. However there are no sauce pans or a colander. There is some deferred maintenance on a window. A useable BBQ would be nice.The host and property managers were extremely helpful and responsive.

We had an amazing time! The house was perfect! Just a girls’ get away with the dog. The house was fully stocked and the view from the windows was amazing! We enjoyed many meals overlooking the open space and the view of the ocean. We spent time at the various beaches and walked the trails with the dog.
