Villa Lea

Villa Lea is exceptional! The space is fantastic, the beds are extremely comfortable, it's has absolutely everything you could need and the pool is amazing! It's exactly like the pictures. The area is very quiet but the supermarket and main strip are less than a 10 minute stroll away. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!

That we had to come home!

What a fantastic stay from start to finish. We travelled as a family of 3 plus my brother and mother in law. 3 very spacious rooms (plus 1 unused) and 3 full size bathroom which was perfect. This villa has everything, huge pool and hot tub. Massive kitchen and dining table and a huge outdoor bbq area. Absolutely fantastic place and really made the holiday. Villa was spotlessly clean and had all the kitchenware you’d need. There were multiple supermarkets around with Lidl being a 10 min walk away.

Everything was perfect

The villa itself was amazing. Great facilities. Do spacious. Lovely little touches like wine/cheese/bread & water left to get us by for a couple of days. Swimming pool was huge, jacuzzi was amazing!

Nothing, everything was perfect apart from maybe the location being up a slight incline if coming from the strip or beach.

The property was an ideal size for a family of seven, five adults and two young children. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms, giving everyone lots of space. Perfect location in a quiet area, although there is building work on the street behind. Large pool (but only cleaned once) and well equipped kitchen.

Customer service is non-existent, almost to the point we had no idea who we were dealing with or if we were being scammed. Booking.com, Holidu the agent, Katrin the owner who just WhatsApp out of the blue, not introducing herself requesting email and transfer of a €300 security deposit and Louise the host. Very confusing. Katrin definitely needs a course in Customer service as I found her rude and intimidating. The property was far from clean on our arrival which was midnight, so they had plenty of time to ensure the Villa was spotless. We spent the first day cleaning the patio area which looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. We swept and mopped the kitchen, dining room and living room as it was apparent the floors hadn’t seen a mop and soapy water in a while. The kitchen sink would have been grateful for a splash of bleach as there was stains and food in the plug holes from the previous guests. It’s advisable to report any damage on day one as the property is in desperate need of a cash injection. Broken parasol, which was actually replaced on day four, broken kitchen cupboard doors. The beach towels provided were threadbare, so it might be advisable to take your own. I don’t normally leave a bad review, and I appreciate this property is big, but when we’re were greeted with two elderly cleaners on check out day who were just as rude as the owner asking us at 9.45am (checkout time is 10am “is that the lot of you out” it’s not surprising the Villa is on the grubby side. We actually transferred to Apartmentos Tisalaya as our flight was 10pm, what a difference and this was a budget property, warm welcome, spotlessly clean and very accommodating. Having stayed in Puerto Del Carmen for many many years, staying in various villas, apartments and hotels, Villa Lea has most definitely been the worst. The owner needs to employ decent cleaners, and spend some cash on general maintenance.
