BLUESEA El Dorado

We’ve been staying in El Dorado for a number of years now and have always been very happy. The location is excellent.

I like the overall layout of the apartments with the kitchenette. But you need to pay more attention to the kitchenette with regards to cleaning around the fridge the fridge itself, and all appliances are in working order and a little more cutlery and basic sponges for cleaning up after yourself and a cutting board.

I like the options of the two swimming pools. But what really bothered me was other vacationers, putting out their towels and the sunbed around the pool at five in the morning and not been present completely out of order. This needs to be rectified some strategy needs to be put down to stop this self, indulging entitlement. If they really want to own a sunbed, let them pay a fee. Also, I was very impressed by the pool lady and a gentleman cleaning the pools. They were excellent workers. I watched them every morning for my balcony. I wonder if the entitled people confiscating their sunbeds every morning , did they ever think of tipped, the hard-working staff maintaining the pool areas in areas, just the thought.

Location was brilliant, in the middle of the old town and end of the strip. Staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with.

We have never ever written a negative review before, we are very easily pleased but this stay was such a let down for us. Pool & sunbeds were taken up with towels, with some towels being left unattended on beds for whole days at a time, meaning we couldn’t use the pool or sunbeds for 4/7 of our days. Even though, hotel policy states that unattended towels will be removed after 40mins, this does not happen. There are two pool areas, but both are very small for number of residents. The man at the pool bar was so rude to me which meant we didn’t go back - unlike the rest of the staff who were all very pleasant. The cleaning of the rooms was absolutely atrocious. Rooms weren’t half cleaned at all, all that was done was towels changed and bed made. The floors weren’t cleaned and in fact had dirty footprints from the cleaners. Overall, the place is quite dated and could really do with some TLC
