Short Stay Holiday

We loved the aircon due to the warm weather of Croatia. The host was very helpful, friendtly and gave us guidance on what to visit.

When we checked-in and the host showed us the property, there was a mixed smell of cigarettes and drains. It was not pleasent at all. The property was super dusty undeneath the bed, on the headboard... and I want to believe the bed was clean. We wanted to move out from that property , but we only had 4 days holidays and it was not worth it to spend time on looking for a new property. The property is small and it has everything needed for a short stay... but the smells and the cleanliness let it down for us. The smell of drains was there throughout our stay.

Very good

The apartment is small, but very clean with everything you could need for a short trip. The AC is also really nice to have during the summer. It’s a 15 min walk from the main beaches and a 30 min walk from Old Town, which has a lot of landmarks to visit and good restaurants.

We didn’t have hot water the entire stay.

The toilet shower was not working. 2 out of 3 rooms did not have any AC. The people upstairs told us to be quite while we were just talking amongst ourselves.

Good value for money

We paid for a studio but got upgraded to a much bigger flat after the guests in the studio decided to stay longer. The flat that we got was really big and comfortable for two people. We had a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a big TV with lots of programs (yes, we watched tv on our holiday :) and even a washing machine in the bathroom. My favorite thing was the big balcony where we could eat breakfast and enjoy the sight of the very green and nice garden. The location is ok, not so close to the center (30min walking) but close to some beaches and the marina where you can take a stroll. You can also take a bus to the center/bus station and once you figure it out it's the best way to get around, although the buses didn't seem to be quite on schedule. Jelena was helpful and answered all our questions regarding buses, shops etc. And the location of the house has the advantage of being very quiet. There is no street noise, nothing, and we didn't see or hear the other guests who were staying at the same time.

It's a bit of a walk to the center but it's a nice walk along the water. And at some point you can take a boat to cross over, so you don't have to walk all the way to the bridge. In the bedroom we could sometimes hear it when there were people walking in the flat above us. Luckily that didn't bother us while sleeping or maybe we didn't hear it at night.

Nice little studio in a big house with a cute little garden and a quick walk to the harbor.

Location is good. Close enough for a walk down to the harbor, to enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean harbor vibe. A quick car ride to Zadar Old Town Center. Also pets are allowed (for a fee) which was great as we a traveling with our dog. We definitely will be back.

The bathroom drained smelled a bit, and the owner forgot to tell us we had to prepare a water boiler before taking a shower (a certain switch had to be turned on), so we had to take a cold shower in the morning. Definitely woke us up :D But otherwise, for the price, it's a great little place!

Very cute apartment

Very very spacious apartment with comfortable beds. Very nice landlady too :)

The apartment is not in the city center. But the walk there is very nice. You walk past the sea and take a little boat for a minute to cross to the other side to get to the city center. Minor issue though as the apartment is in a quiet location and the walk really is nice.

Very clean and lovely

We came earlier than 14 and we still were able to get inside the apartment. All facilities that you need, so it was very comfortable. Apartment is very close to the beach as well, only 14min by walking and it is nice walk to the city center in the evening. Definitely recommend, the host was very helpful and nice. Thank you!

It was a very pleasent stay in Emma apartment. I recommend this place.

I liked the communication with the host. The room looks like in the photos, kitchen is fully equiped and there is also a nice table to sit at outside, when the weather is good.
