This hotel proves that people who have been in the hotel business for a long time can actually still care. The absolute thoughtfulness of every single aspect of the place. For example, at first I thought, "The doors close so slowly. Why do they do that?" Well, if you ever have your hands full or when you are leaving and you are trying to fit more than one bag through a door, you are going to appreciate that. And the thing is, someone had to THINK about that. They made the decision on purpose for customers and cleaning staff to have the doors close more slowly. It is just that kind of thoughtfulness that runs the gamut at Harry's. Let's think of a few more things that are normally inconvenient at other hotels that are covered when you stay at Harry's. Outlets to plug in everything - plenty - overwhelmingly plenty and in convenient locations. Closet space - Okay - they could have had regular skinny wall closets. They don't. They have walk-in style closets that are big enough that you can use it to change in. OMG! Let me tell you that that is revolutionary thinking right there. When you are traveling in mixed company, it is so important. Sometimes that happens with friends, family, and in business. Private bathroom - No SEE-through bathrooms that are all the rage here. Thank goodness. No one wants to watch someone bath or what have you. Lighting - SO many options. Outside light with mechanical blinds, floor lighting, recessed lighting, backlighting, etc. For those who struggle with dim bedside lamps or bright overhead ones, you will not have a problem finding exactly what you are looking for. Sofa bed - they are not lying. The sofa bed is a regular bed. It has a full mattress. It feels much like a regular bed. Air conditioning - Do you need it throughout the year? No. Heat wave hits, you need it. This one was heaven and super chill. Slept wonderfully.

The forever walk to the check-in. Not having an ice bucket. I know that isn't really a thing usually in Europe, but even having a small plastic bag just for that as an option if a small family needs ice would be wonderful. Double check your tea selection because there were no caffeinated options. Breakfast, although good, was a bit pricey (but I will admit, there are other options that are in the same building that are more reasonable).

One of the top places to stay in Steyr. With parking below and great restaurant ( Wow Thai ) in the complex. Clean, comfortable exceptional equipped.

Clean, centrally located with shopping and restaurants in the building. Short walk to other shopping and sights. Laundry facilities & outdoor spaces at the hotel were nice too and the daily breakfast was wonderful.

The bed was 2 twins connected and the “seam” in between was not only uncomfortable, but the beds kept coming apart.
