As a solo traveller I felt safe in the area. The accommodation was very comfortable & clean. Giovanni the host is so lovely, sending self check in details that were very helpful. Great bed & shower. Fast wifi. Overall an excellent choice.
It was a fair walk to the old town but was a nice to see different parts of the city.

We stayed at Mama Tita for five night (kids, parents and grand parents). Giovanni is so friendly and helpful. He made us feel so welcome. The place is very nice and clean, nice beds, good aircondition, nice breakfast. Mama Tita is placed near nice restaurants, shopping etc. but in a nice calm area of Palermo at the same time. We can only recommend Mama Tita as a lovely base for your stay in Palermo.

Everything was clean and comfortable, while being accessible to all the things and areas we wished to visit.
Giovanni our host was the nicest person and made us feel so welcomed, at home and looked after!
He also helped us to navigate the city and organise activities too!

A very cosy and quiet spot nearby the vibrant part of Palermo! Very good access from the airport, to the station (for a daytrip to Cefalu) and busses (Mondello). The place is very clean, the bed is comfortable, the shower and bathroom are perfect. The breakfast is traditional with new fresh pastries every single day from a local bakery. Giovanni is a very warm host, ready to help to make your stay very comfortable and authentic. He is always reachable for any questions and very flexible to make the best out of your stay.
