The location is excellent. The apartment is in a quiet part of the city, yet everything is close by, and you can reach the main central sights with a pleasant walk. There's a grocery store nearby, and the metro is just around the corner, which makes getting around very easy. A real highlight is being only a 5-minute walk from Biancolatte, a well-known local spot designed to feel like the kitchen of a large home. It's perfect for a morning coffee, and its brioche alla crema is famous. Starting the day there quickly became my favourite routine. The host was also kind and accommodating, ready to help with anything I needed.

The apartment is on the ground floor in what is essentially a semi-basement room, and it feels like it. There is only one window, which starts at about 1.5 m high, so very little natural light gets in and the space is quite dark. The window also looks directly onto the building's rubbish bins, so every time someone throws out their trash it's very loud. The biggest issue is the humidity. You can feel the dampness in the air, and the bathroom walls have black stains from moisture, possibly even mould (I wasn't sure, but it didn't look good). The bathroom door is also visibly worn, with the surface peeling off near the handle. Noise insulation is poor. Whenever someone enters the building and closes the main door, the apartment's entrance door shakes, and you hear everyone passing by as if they were in the room with you. To be fair, the apartment has all the necessary amenities, but overall it feels worn out and damp. It could be fine for a very short stay if you're on a budget, but I wouldn't recommend it for longer stays or for anyone sensitive to humidity or noise.
