It was a good stay.....

The location was very good. Close to the city center and to subways and buses. Staff very friendly. The breakfast was good too. Lots of choice to chose from. The room was spacious. Bed was comfortable. Pillows could be a bit better.

The bathroom needs to be updated. Unfortunately we found a big cockroach in there so that didn't make us feel very comfortable obviously.

Great location, staff, and breakfast

Room was not ready at check in time. We were given complimentary drinks while room was being prepared. Once in the room all was fine. Perhaps a little noisy outside at night but it is a city after all and a very central location

Bedroom itself was spacious Bed was big and clean

! There were an ongoing painting construction in other rooms and hallways on the same floor, so there was a really unpleasant smell in our room as well (whole floor). We couldn't sleep well and got some headache. We opened the windows sometime during the night, but that would allow people to walk in our room and it is too cold to keep it open anyway. - During the night I went to the toilet and after using it, water continues to flush the whole time! So we needed to turn off the cold water from the whole bathroom which was problematic when taking a shower in the morning. - Black Hairs on the ground near the bathtub and also 1 in the bathtub. - Windows and toilet door is hard to open/close

Nice but hard to find

Really hard to find… no signage. Should really call it the Royal Hotel B or 2 so you go the Parent hotel to check in

Superb

We were placed opposite - in the hotel Royal. Very tasty breakfast, good assortment - champagne, fish, many sausages. The bathroom has 2 sinks, which is convenient. Good location.

The bathtub is quite small and uncomfortable.

My room was changed with out my consent and the lady at the reception refused to understand me when I said I wanted the room I had booked and came up with funny excuses and gave me another room where I arrived and it was still being cleaned so I had to go back to reception and the gentleman there gave me some other room. I was totally annoyed and even checked out in the night and booked my self another apartment in town.

The room and actually the whole floor had a very intense moldy smell. There was mold in the toe plates. The sheets were made of polyester, hence uncomfortable on the skin.

Misleading price policy : I reserved and prepaied for 3 nights. Arriving the hotel my schedule suddendly changed and I had to modify my reservation form 3 to only 2 nights. The receptionist told me it was absolutly no problem and that I could be refund for the 3rd unused night. But at the end of my stay another receptionist told me the 3rd remaining night will be charged anyway. So they say they charge 2 nights...and they charge 3 nights in the end ! Unacceptable.
