Location, cleanliness , very comfortable beds , super quiet for sleeping , very pleasant and efficient/helpful staff , breakfast was very good . Good safe and fridge in room . Loved the sofa and spaciousness .

An excellent stay!

Our stay at Hotel Royal was excellent! The hotel is situated in an excellent location for visiting the centre of Stuttgart, including museums and theatres. It provides private parking and is easy to reach. The hotel is elegant, the breakfast is very good, the wifi works perfectly. The rooms are very comfortable and our had a bathtub, which is difficult to find in hotels nowadays. The staff was very professional and kind. We really like everything!!

Habe mich gefreut! Alles war Super!

I had Einzelzimmer Comfort. It was nice and on a quiet side. I didn´t hear a thing, although i´m very sensitive to sounds. The bed was comfy, even the pillow (to my surprise, cos i normally travel with my pillow). The breakfast was also good. Staff was nice. They don´t have to be mega friendly, but they were nice and doing their job. I will definitely book again.

A gem of a hotel in a great location.

This was a fabulous hotel.. a real gem… most unexpected from the outside…. Great location, clean and large room…. Very friendly and helpful staff… and a delicious breakfast buffet. We loved it. It was also surprising quite considering where it is… we had room 125.

Perfect location. The Albrecht Dürer house is next door, the castle is just 150m away and the little Tiergartnertorplatz with some great local restaurants and bars is a perfect place for an evening chat with friends. The staff is really friendly. The breakfast is good.

Friendly staff and good quality breakfast

Breakfast was very good quality. Staff on reception were very helpful and let us leave our bags for the day after we checked out. Good location, easy walk to the centre, very close to an excellent supermarket and a main subway station. Price includes access to nearby FitnessFirst gym, although it didn't open until 9am on a Saturday which was too late for us.

Good experience

The breakfast is great with thepossiblity of the glass of Royal sect. The cappuccino was great and beautifully served. They have real keys, vintage styled. The washroom and shower are very clean. We came because of Ed Sheeran concert and the metro station with the line to get the concert location was very close,

A great hotel option in the middle of the city

Lovely room with everything in it that you would need. Bathroom was nice with a bathtub and couldn't complain about the room.

The water from the tap was weak and not too much came out. We made do with it and it wasn't too much of a problem.

Great location - 5 minute walk from the centre!

The hotel was situated in a great location just a very short walk from the centre of Stuttgart. The room was nice and the staff seemed happy to be of assistance.

The Air-conditioning was broken which was a shame. The bathroom seemed a little dated and the shower, although it is nice to be powerful, felt like a jet wash on my skin! This made it difficult to regulate the temperature as it was only half turned on.

In centre

You don't shower properly because the hose is too short. For larger people not at all relaxed longer than 5 minutes to shower. For this price I expect a bathtube I enjoy showering. I also asked for parking ans they said yeah, just behind the corner. After chrckout, they charged me and didnt say anything in front about the price. I thought it was included. Its expensive, not worth to pay this amount.

Small room, needs updates

Great location near pedestrian zone and public transportation. Parking on site was convenient for 20 eur a day (however the entrance is pretty hidden, signs would've been nice). Good wifi.

AC in room did not work, was told AC didn't function for entire floor of hotel we were on. It was only April but the room was uncomfortably warm. The bathroom did not have a door or any sort of privacy screen... Room was very small, especially with a crib. No water kettle or coffee in the room.

Good value for city hotel

I'd recommend the hotel, provided you book a larger type room - looks like the single rooms are less attractive. Yes the reception area is more "Swiss Alpine" than urban chic, but it works! Location is very good, at one end of a long road through all the shops and squares that ends with the rail station. Stadtmitte train station is close to the hotel. The S2 connects to airport - easy! Room was spacious, well ventilated (April). Staff were excellent, daily refresh of room & towels if needed. New mineral water daily. Biscuits in the room, good bathroom, very clean and a huge TV.

1.Memory foam matress makes you hot. 2. If you have windows open the Irish bar and a small sports bar next door makes some noise until 1am at weekends. Double glazing shuts out the noise. 3.Portable showerhead was great but the massive overhead 'forest rain' head didin't work. 4. The hotel evening food menu, it was a little niche, fine dining. However, there are loads of great restaurants and bars locally and in the city.

Centrally located and perfect for a few nights.

The room was comfortable. Nice shower room, tv worked with my Netflix. Internet also worked. Lift to the 2nd floor so easy to get to with a suitcase. Also a staircase next to teh lift easy to use and straght down to the reception. Chair and coffee table, desk for working at and a tilt opening double glazed window.

The bed was too hard and the plastic bed protector made me sweat. Too hot. The gym was not in the hotel and I would not and did not want to walk across the road to get to the one the hotel uses. Breakfast, I saw a customer with fried eggs and when I asked if I could have some, I was told no?

The rooms have partly been renovated. I had a room that was not yet renovated, i.e. it was full of period features with dated furniture, lighting etc.

Nice Location, excellent Fitness

Fitness or Gym at the Fitness First club at the station is really good. Hotel provided a towel and bottle of water. Main reason for choosing this hotel for me and it delivered. Breakfast is cheap at 9 Euro and good. Location is really great, just for a walk downtown with all these bars restaurants shopping centers etc. it could not be better. I had some really nice food and craft beer next door in Sophie's Brauhaus. The room is good and modern/new. The bathroom is good and modern/new.

The room is really small 18m2 I upgraded to a comfort room on the city side because the standard room looked old on the foto's. It was really expensive so I could not upgrade to a double room on the city side. I am there for business 1 day and I would prefer a less expensive stay, but it is what it is. There was building noise at 6.45, but that is my wake-up time anyway.

Lovely hotel, in a convenient position. Efficient staff.

The hotel was conveniently situated, close to the main shopping street and restaurants. The room was large, had a large comfortable bed and a separate sitting area. The bathroom was spacious and had a good shower as well as a bath. The staff were efficient and helpful. Our room was at the back of the hotel so was very quiet. The restaurant was closed for the 3 days we were there, but breakfast was available if you wanted it. I would certainly stay at this hotel if I returned to Stuttgart

The only down side was that there wasn’t a kettle or coffee making facility in the room. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Very good

Very good location, lots of nice restaurants and shops nearby, close to U-Bahn, neatly maintained room. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
