The location is fabulous and the staff were friendly and helpful. The price we paid for the room was good. The TV in the room was really large. Despite the criticisms listed I would stay again.
The hotel is tired and in need of a refurbishment and feels nothing like a 4 star. We had a classic room, the furniture was worn, there were chips out of the bath tub which also drained really slowly even when having a shower. There is a pool table in the bar and the cloth is ripped. The room lighting was like trying to solve an elaborate puzzle if you wanted to just have the bathroom light on.
I think the rating leads to an expectation of the quality which can only end in disappointment, but to be fair we did not pay a 4 star Paris price for the room either.

Location
They did not have the ability to give a 2nd key when 1st key was misplaced and had to personally accompany every time going to the room. The elevator light didn’t work. The front rooms are right on the busy road. I was sent another client’s bill and even after requesting the correct one, it still has not been sent.
