Enjoyable short break in an iconic location.

The apartment is just round the corner from the central square of this small town, good choice of restaurants. It was compact but comfortable, perfect for a few nights.

We had a bit of confusion with the key safe, quickly resolved, our fault. The parking in the immediate area was busy but we found easy parking towards the tourist office. The property description mentioned a tumble drier which implied a washing machine. No sign of either, probably a translation mistake.

It was warm when we arrived. It had everything we would need to enjoy our lovely trip to Sancerre

Fantastic location. Perfect for the night.

It was in a perfect location just off the upper town square. Gorgeous cobbled streets & Christmas decorations lighting up the stores. It really could not have been a better location. The bed was comfortable, & all the facilities were clean & functional. Very happy… it was great for the night!

This was NO problem for me, but I’m mentioning it as it may affect some people. The parking is indeed free, but it’s a matter of luck if you find a space nearby. You cannot park at the accommodation, although you can stop for a very short time to unload. In my case, I found a great space to park in the square, just 50 yards away, & I didn’t have much to carry. It was all perfect for me!

It’s location! As it is in the centre there is little parking and in fact at the weekend and bank holidays access by car is heavily restricted/blocked off until 19.00

Enjoyable stay and we managed to buy some nice Sancerre Wine. Would stay there again.

Location was quaint with some nice neighbours ( his name was Pierre) nice old guy who wished us a Bon journee and gave us some cakes for our travels.

Secure parking would have been nice but we were able to park in the street near by.

Good location

The host was very understanding with circumstances, happened to need spare keys temporarily and the host provided them as needed. Friendly host. Maps provided by the host at property for things to see and do in Sancerre.

It would be nice to have a lamp which would only have the livingroom space lit and not the bedroom section. Each light available illuminated the entire space making it difficult for one person to sleep and the other to be still awake.

L'emplacement hyper central par rapport au centre-ville de Sancerre. En plein cœur de ville, on peut tout faire à pied. L'équipement de l'appartement est parfait. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Très bien pour sortir et être calqué sur un rythme citadin. Super communication avec Bernard, notre hôte. Très réactif.

L'isolation phonique est faible. On entend voiture et discussions extérieures. On entend les sonnettes des magasins alentours (murs en commun). Si vous cherchez le calme, ce n'est pas forcément l'adresse à conseiller.
