Horrendous

Sancerre is a beautiful location but sadly this property is best to be avoided.

The property is cold and felt damp, the bed is a pull out occasional bed rather than a proper bed and is very uncomfortable, the entrance approach is scruffy and is very dirty, bedding is poor quality and felt damp, the shower is not an offering because you have to hold it and risk sliding in the tub which is on two levels and the bathroom is absolutely freezing because the radiator does not work and the list goes on ….We arrived very late at night after a very long day travelling and we would not have stayed if we had have had an option to go elsewhere.

I'd stay there again!

I loved that everything was super clean, and that the kitchen was new and easy to clean. The space was really easy and pleasant to live in, with all the amenities I needed. The host was very helpful, and available to call if needed.

Visitors should know that there are two sets of stairs to reach the building, and that the front door may stick a little.

The cupboards including all the other furniture were well thought of and placed to provide space. And to top it all, the apartment was clean.

This would be no problem for younger and more able guests but as we are senior citizens, we did struggle a little with the 2 flights of narrow staircases.

A wonderful stay in a lovely part of a charming town thanks to a kind host.

Location, price, helpful, responsive, and friendly owner/proprietor, cleanliness, well stocked for traveler.

Getting in and out of the tub was somewhat difficult. The apartment might benefit from a comfortable chair for reading or watching television. Otherwise it was perfect!

A fully renovated old loft studio in Sancerre centre

In the centre of Sancerre; very old entrance and stairs and then voila - a modern studio with all facilities and good wifi. Bernard, the host was kind enough to offer pick up and drop off from Trace Sancerre station, as it is 7k’s and uphill!

It’s the first time I’ve seen a washer / dryer in one machine!

Breakfast was not included. Good location. It’s a short walk to restaurants and shops and to the school which is the main reason I went there.

None. Everything’s available for a week’s stay although I didn’t cook.

Je n'ai absolument rien à redire sur ce charmant appartement/studio. Idéal pour un couple ou une jeune famille avec un enfant en bas âge ou un bébé. De plus, il est situé à deux pas de la place du centre-ville et de ses commerces.

L'escalier est un peu raide et étroit, mais il a beaucoup de charme et convient parfaitement au style ancien du bâtiment.

Hyggeligt og smukt ophold i Sancerre. Dog skal man være opmærksom på restauranterne da alle ikke er lige ok.

Meget lokalt beliggende. Dog stejl trappe op til lejligheden. Men den levede op til vores forventninger. Så alt var godt. Mødte dig ikke værten.

In het weekend en op feestdagen is het historisch centrum van Sancerre van 11u00 tot 19u00 alleen wandelgebied en is de studio met de auto enigszins lastig (maar niet onmogelijk, beheerder stuurt een plattegrond met alt. route) te bereiken.

Tout était très bien.

Situation exceptionnelle en plein centre de Sancerre à proximité de tous commerces, bars restaurants. Pas bruyant. Parking temporaire pour décharger les bagages.

Il faut accéder par l’esplanade porte cesar et ne pas suivre le gps !

J'ai aimé le très bon emplacement en plein centre-ville , l'accessibilité pour trouver l'appartement , les équipements bien fournis ,la propreté de l'appartement et la possibilités de faire un café avec tous ce qu'il faut sur place (dosettes sucre etc...)

L'escalier très raide entre le 1er et le 2éme étage , mais nous sommes encore jeunes pour crapahuter
