Damperiholmen Apartment, Lofoten

Very rarely when I’m traveling do I stay in an accommodation that I don’t want to leave. This was one of those times. I absolutely loved the apartment. The views from the windows are fantastic. Sund is such an idyllic village. The Lofoten Islands can get overwhelming with all the tourists squashed into such a small place, so it was absolutely wonderful to come back to Sund after a day of sightseeing and peacefully wander around the village without crowds of tourists. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed to prepare meals. There’s even a proper laundry room if needed. Quality toiletries were also provided in the bathroom. Since it’s professionally managed, communication with the host was also very efficient. Parking was also very convenient.

I highly recommend adding a trash receptacle outside of the apartment. I didn’t mind taking out the trash after our stay, but it was a bit difficult to find a place to dispose of it. We ended up using the trash can at the shopping center parking lot in Ramberg.

The location is just amazing. Quiet with beautiful views. It is very comfy and spacious as well.

If I need to say one little small negative thing is the blinds that don’t protect over the midnight light

Escalier très raide pour monter et descendre avec des bagages.

Énorme satisfaction pour cet appartement dans lequel on s’est senti immédiatement comme à la maison. Très clair, avec une vue sympa, très bien placé dans Sund ainsi que pour visiter les îles, cuisine très bien équipée, literie confortable, vaste salle de bain, buanderie très pratique, je recommande à 100%

Il manque juste un micro-ondes, pratique pour réchauffer les restes.
