High hopes but terrible reality.

The location was suitable for us. Great that it was pet friendly. The flat was large.

On arrival it was clear the property needed work doing. Kitchen kickboards were hanging off, mould in the shower and heavy limescale in the bath, all utensils and crockery in the kitchen was very dirty, the bedsheets and spare pillows were heavily stained. Also, the sofa and pillows had crusty stains on them too. We chose not to use the kitchen as it was no where near up to our standards. The lights in the kitchen also did not work.

Disappointing

It was clean

Boiler kept going off, despite it having been recently serviced. The property was not as advertised. Blinds didn’t operate properly. Entrance door needs to be replaced. Joinery work is unfinished and shoddy. No smoke alarms

Spacious apartment poorly furnished and maintained. Not worth the money.

The space and size.

It was poorly furnished and damaged. All the pots and pans were filthy and some even bent so badly they were unable to use. Showers temperature gauge never worked so there was only hot water in the shower.

Great place for us to stay during a transition/ house move.

It was a good space and much larger than expected. Mostly had everything that myself and my daughters needed for our stay. Any problems were addressed by staff at Spare Crib promptly

Gas meter requiring top up. Although money was refunded and I believe spare crib are in the process of changing this.
