Side unit with limited view of the bay. This is an efficiency unit that can sleep 2. Consists of a combined living area/bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Makai is conveniently located on 42nd Street and the bay. Walk to the Convention Center, dining, shops and the beach. The building has two elevators serving all floors, an indoor pool, ground floor lounge with free internet access, fitness center and billiards room. This property rents any 3 nights. The property currently has a Queen murphy bed and a futon to sleep 2. Guest supplies bed linens, towels, paper goods and soaps. Washer and dryer in condo for your convenience. An optional linen package is available for this property. Linens would be delivered to the condo for your arrival. A set would include a sheet set for each bed and a towel set for the occupancy of the condo. You will be able to add this option to your reservation for a fee if you wish.

The room was very nice, clean, and as described in listing. We didn’t have WiFi so we didn’t have internet and no tv. We were there for Boardwalk Rocks so we didn’t have enough energy when we returned to the room to speak with direct tv. Did contact office and they tried to help but they needed someone in the room. We ended up using are hot spot so we could relax before bed n watch some tv.

The property was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay. A quick walk to the beach and afterwords some pizza and Rita’s ice which was right next door. You can also walk behind the building to the bay and around the back of another building to some benches to sit and enjoy the scenery and nature.

Stayed 3 nights in August. I've stayed in a other room at the same property so I knew what to expect. Building is in decent shape, good amenities and location. The room however is fairly run down. Was not very clean. All blankets had suspicious stains (not ones that had been washed...actual food (or whatever else) residue on them). Pillows were pretty gross. Mattress pad was yellow. Had to wash all blankets and pillows on arrival. Throw pillows on couch and couch in same condition but we just didn't sit on the couch (mini fouton). Light in shower didn't work. Tub Faucet handle literally comes right off in your hand. Shower and bathroom sink drains are SLOW so you are standing in 4 inches of dirty water to shower. Full size coffee maker in kitchen would have been nice (only had one of those tiny hotel ones), but other than that kitchen was fine. The balcony... I know it wasn't bay front, but even calling it bay view is a stretch. You have to stretch your neck over the railing to see the bay. You're looking at the parking lot. NO privacy... your balcony and the way the outdoor sofa was facing is basically in another units balcony. When we went to leave a few min before 10, I forgot something in the room and had to go back up. At 10:05 house keeping showed up. I think that's a little excessive to not give a tiny bit of grace period for check out.
Pros: quick check in, good location, plenty of free parking at resort, resort is in decent repair
