Everything we needed in a good location.

Clean, comfortable and good location.

Single beds were a little too small for tall people but other than that everything was good.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, would have been better if children's play park area had some facilities

Loved the view - the decking overlooking Loch Oich - the best of all the lodges in the area (in our opinion). The Beds, seating, rooms were all comfortable. Facilities were generally clean and tidy, and had everything we needed for a short stay.

TV reception and WIFI reception could have been better. Mains water not available, but we did have access to tap water which we boiled before use - not a great hardship but was something to consider. Children's playground area was empty, any facilities there have clearly been removed and nothing replaced. Did not notice restaurant or office area open - looked abandoned.

Excellet location and lodge on lake shore.

Excellent location and the view by the lake. Very well equipped kitchen, nice and comfortable beds with pillows for my family taste. Very clean. Comfortable furniture for relaxing. Quiet surrounding. Nice morning swims before taking the road.

Stunning location, exceptional host, perfect location for a base to explore the western highlands

The photos don't do the location justice, its a beautiful location, really peaceful with a great view across the loch

Ideally a few more places to eat within walking distance would have been a bonus. We walked up to the Invergarry Hotel a couple of evenings and the food was lovely, but just over 5 miles waling there and back.

Comfortable and cosy stay with stunning lakeside views.

The location of Hayfield View Lodge is exceptional. Great location for visiting Fort Augustus, Loch Ness, Fort William, Ben Nevis and the Isle of Skye etc. The lodge is in a perfect position overlooking Loch Oich. The kids loved watching the boats go past and watching the swing bridge open. The beds are very comfortable with lovely thick pillows and duvets. We all slept very well. The heating system was great and kept the lodge cosy and warm. Just be mindful to keep the door closed in twin room opposite the bathroom as the heat against the door can set the fire alarms off. The heaters are very effective and are not needed for long periods of time. Very well equipped lodge - the host has thought of everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely peaceful area with amazing view to the lake. Overall accommodation was clean, nice and tidy. We really appreciated a heater in every room and beautiful fireplace.

easy to access and comfortable with extra items like bluetooth speaker to make stay more comfortable. lots of useful information.

cooker was a bit tricky to get working. I think when we put on high fan it was ok. the cafe was shut the entire time we stayed.

This place has well exceeded my expectations.. has everything you need for your stay & well maintained.. all rooms great & the location is unbelievably stunning.. to sit and relax in front of the Loch is just beautiful.. absolutely made up with this place..

Between 6 of us staying here the only thing we could come up with is sticky bedroom doors & sticky bathroom door lock..

Superb

The lodge was very comfortable and perfectly situated for us as we were walking the Great Glen Way. Lovely looking straight out at the loch in the morning! The host was very responsive and helpful when we had questions before our visit. The Park was being renovated so no cafe or bar available, but we had food we could prepare in the well-stocked kitchen.

The views, outstanding location, very easy access to the Great Glen Way for easy cycles, jogs and walks with magnificent views. Booked to return next year as it's great for kayaking and paddle boarding too. It's a prime central location from which day trips to amazing places are easily done with time left over to be active around the lodge! Its very peaceful, ample parking, and the house itself was fantastic. Far more spacious than it looked on images. The beds and bedding were super comfy, there were enough towels for us all for the 5 nights and 6 days of activities.

Shower water pressure 😂 but to be honest that wasn't too bad, just can't think of anything else!

Disappointing

Lovely location (but a lot of midges!) and comfortable beds.

It was dirty - obviously hadn’t been properly swept for a while as there was a lot of dirt behind doors and under beds and dirty socks in the bedside drawer. The extract fan above to cooker had no cover exposing the elements. There were no instructions on arrival explaining how the oven worked or the wifi password - just a long list of what to do before leaving.

Beautiful location nice and comfortable lodge

The location is great - right next to water. The lodge was nice and comfortable,well stocked with all home comforts and clean bedding and towels also provided. The beds were very comfy.

It was a bit cob webby along the windows, doors and outside furniture as if not been tended to in a while. There was nothing open at the site which is disappointing but nothing to do with the accommodation. I think the name Great Glen Water Park is a bit misleading as there is nothing open and is a wee bit eerie around the main reception.

Erg fijn!

Boven verwachting! Accommodatie heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Ruime keuken, veel kachels verwarming wat fijn is voor de winter. We konden zelfs Netflix kijken op de tv. De kamers zijn schoon, compact maar bedden zijn comfortabel. Voor 6 personen is dit voor de prijs een uitstekend verblijf! Ook is het aan een meer en op 10 minuten afstand van Loch Ness meer. Fort William is op 20 minuten afstand.

Auto is nodig voor deze locatie want er is geen restaurant/supermarkt in de buurt. Allemaal 5 min rijden.

Exceptionnel tout y était nous n'avions rien à ajouter.

Tout : Le cadre est magnifique. Le logement est parfait, une odeur de propre en arrivant (une première pour nous et cela était très agréable). L'ensemble des équipements était parfait.

Notre séjour était trop court :) et la couette du lit double est moins moelleuse que celles des lits individuels :)
