Grand Waterworld Makadi - Couples and Families Only

Very far from city, if free van available every 2 or 3 hour's it’s better for guests

Having stayed at many excellent hotels around the world, though never at an all-inclusive hotel before, for us the Grand Waterworld Makadi was a pleasant surprise in every respect. The architecture, the pool landscapes, the outdoor facilities, everything is beautiful and well maintained, our room was spotlessly clean. The entire staff impressed us positively. We would particularly like to praise Ms. Ereen. She dealt with all our requests quickly and effectively to our complete satisfaction, professional, friendly and always helpful. High standard! The snorkeling (main reason we stumbled upon the Grand Waterworld Makadi in the first place) at the hotel beach is very good, lots of fish and intact corals. We love the concept. Parts of the reef were cordoned off with buoys and are thus well protected (protection both for corals from destruction as for snorkelers from abrasions). So you can snorkel comfortably alongside with a view of beautiful corals and lots of colorful fish. The breakfast buffet is varied, plentiful and of good quality, with the exception of the fruit juices. But they offer freshly squeezed orange juice for an extra charge of €2.50. As we spent the whole day snorkeling on the beach, we can't comment on the lunch menu. In the evening you can choose between three extensive buffets and several a la carte restaurants. For the latter you just have to get a table reservation in advance. The menues offer a good choice of starters, main course, desert selections and we enjoyed our dinner. As we enjoyed our stay so much, we have already booked the Grand Waterworld again for the final days of our vacation at the end of our self drive round trip. Furthermore we are even considering spending a longer stay at Grand Waterworld Makadi in the classic all-inclusive sense in the future, to be able to enjoy all the many different options included.

They are very special regarding the way they treat their guests. Maybe the only thing that bothered me, that they will never let you go without being 100% sure that you enjoyed every single minute during your stay 😃. All the staff is highly trained to serve you with a very high standards. From the top management, to the housekeeping, the life guards, the waiters, the bell captain. Everyone there is treating you as a very special guest. So keep it up you really deserve this exceptional rating.

The stay was nearly perfect. The hotel has a lot of entertaining facilities. A nice aqua park is available. The hotel is located in front of a snorkeling sight. Few shops are round the corner where you can find essential stuff. The rooms are spacious enough. And the most admirable thing is the stuff and their welcoming hospitality. Although I had some few complaints regarding the room, it was all solved within few minutes. Would like to thank Mr. Mohamed Fahmy for being involved himself to make sure that everything was done perfectly. The receptionist as well for their fast response. Based on my experience I highly recommend this hotel for families specifically with young kids.
