Apartment Lanterna Veneziana

From the moment I arrived I received such great service. I was escorted to the private parking lot and shuttled from there with bags in a golf cart to the apartment. It couldn’t have been a better location, right in the old town with windows facing the sea, with sunrise views that were incredible. The space could be considered austere but it was perfect for what I needed. The crispy a/c was also a welcome relief after each hot day. On leaving, I was again shuttled to the car with my bags so no need to for dragging through town.

The space could be better supplied, there were no shower amenities and the kitchen lacked certain items. But I was well enough prepared, just be aware that you should bring your own soaps/ shampoos, etc.

Great location in the old town. The owner met us and showed to her private car park( extra charge for parking) and then took us to the apartment in her golf buggy as the area is pedestrian only. View was fabulous. Aircon worked well. (Needed to use it as we had to close windows at night due to being on a main walking street. )

The bedding was disappointing. No cotton sheets- just a cover on the mattress and a synthetic doona cover that was too small for the bed. Pillows lumpy and needed replacement. Towels needed replacing. Quality linen would make such a difference. Couldn’t find the safe or coffee machine that was in the description.
