La ubicación y la vista.

Posizione in centro ottima. Appartamento piccolo ma funzionale dotato di tutti i comfort. La vista sul mare è superlativa, da sogno.

Il palazzo molto vecchio e le scale con escrementi di piccione non erano proprio il massimo. La finestra sull’angolo cucina è inutilizzabile a meno di non dare fuoco alle tende. Il bidè in bagno è inutilizzabile perché incollato al wc quindi è impossibile sedercisi. Il bagno emana un forte odore proveniente dalle tubature ma è risolvibile tenendo la porta chiusa e la finestra aperta.

Location was 11/10. Right in the heart of old town with a spectacular view. AC worked well, bed was super comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed.

We chose this property for the location and the view. Staying in the Old Town and right on the city wall with a sea view was very unique and enjoyable. The price was very reasonable and the property was mostly as described. It was quiet as this part of Old Town is not busy at all. We parked at the paid lot that was just a 5 minute walk away, which is nice when dragging luggage over cobblestones! Parking cost around $12 per day. The property manager was very responsive during our stay. The apartment was missing a blow dryer when we arrived, and he promptly provided one on request. Then there was a massive rain and wind storm and the windows leaked considerable water all over the floor while we were sleeping. He quickly provided towels to mop up the mess. We appreciated his quick response! The view is really, really amazing. The bed was comfortable enough. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple breakfasts. It was very fun to enjoy the city at night, then walk a short distance back to our accommodations. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay!

Staying in such an old building has pluses and minuses. The experience is definitely unique. But it has it drawbacks that you should know before booking. This unit has very basic furnishings. Comfortable, but nothing fancy. It was mostly clean, but there was considerable dust and some hair in all the corners. The bathroom is very, very small and it started to smell during the rainstorm. Perhaps the sewers were affected with the rain. Both windows leaked A LOT during the rainstorm. This shouldn't be a problem if it's sunny, like it usually is. We never actually saw the property manager. He provided a code for the key when we arrived. We missed being greeted by someone at check in. The personal service and local recommendations is always appreciated. There is no shower soap, shampoo or conditioner provided, only hand soap at the bathroom sink. There was dish soap too, but it was so watered down it wasn't really soapy.
