Decent value, but lots of issues with the property

Good location.

Shower was partially broken - spout at top did not work, had to use hand wand. No a/c! Appliances very difficult to work/figure out. Front lock was odd and difficult to figure out.

Exceptional location.

The apartment is really clean and comfortable. The location is perfect. So close to the metro that you can get anywhere. And the neighborhood is very artsy with great bookshops and some excellent shopping.

A few more coffee pods would be nice.

Overall it was a covenient location for first timers..

Everything was good. The location was just perfect!! Very close to the metro and lots of cafes and restaurants in the neighbourhood.

The one thing that was missing in the apartment was a full length mirror. Also there were no hooks anywhere to hang clothes/towels or just anything.

Booking.com says this property has Air conditioning, which was a major reason we booked. We only arrived to find out there was NO air conditioning, and one of the fan is not working. We asked for replacement of the fan, the staff promised to replace the next day, but it was only delivered on the day we check out. In this consideration it may be too hot for summer time in Paris. For The apartment gate entry and door key access, you would need a working international mobile phone to call. Wished the check in details can be given in email instead so no phone card needed to be purchased. Other than that, the apartment is pretty good.

The apartment, though on the smaller size is outfitted well and has all you need for a 2 week stay

The instructions were a bit complicated and need a working mobile device, mine didnt connect to the web while in the entrance area Location is close to good restaurants, grocery, public transportation etc. Great boulangerie around the corner and several subway/bus. Area felt safe

There isnt a rack to put toiletries in the bathroom shower

A wonderful apartment in a great location.

Stayed for 5 days with our three grown daughters in June. Very clean, newly renovated modern appartment. it was well equipped with towels, shampoo, cleaning supplies and laundry detergent. Located a block from Republique Metro station, which is very well connected with almost all metro lines. it has two bathrooms with showers but only one separate toilet, which might be an issue but worked ok for our family.

The access codes were complicated and require/assume that you have a cellular internet/wifi connection. You need to press on and follow a link to have the inside gate opened remotely. Most other apartments we stayed at during our multi stop trip had codes for a lock box with keys.

Nice location.

It was a real quest. After booking the apartments and making a non-refundable payment, I was switched to another service - Checkmyguest.fr. Through another service, I had to do 1) Make various confirmations via e-mail 2) Make a deposit of 500 Euro 3) Send a copy of the passport or ID card somewhere (bye, GDPR!) After these unexpected operations, I received instructions on how to open the three doors. One-by-one. I confirmed that we would arrive at 3 p.m. It is very difficult to get into the apartments. The first doors open using a code, no problems. The second door to the internal yard open by luck. It is necessary to press the button in the browser on your smartphone. But nothing happened, it was raining, but we were in the well from the stone walls. There was no Internet. Mission impossible. The good people of this house helped us and let us go into the yard. To open third door, you need to use the code again. If you're lucky, the third time the door will open. Inside the apartment you will find the key from the second door, but you should be creative to understand this fact. :) When we finally got to the apartment, it was dirty. I called this service, we left the apartment. When we returned the apartment was clean. Happy end! :) Oh no, that's not all! I had to write to this service and remind to return me the deposit money. The deposit was immediately returned. Happy end now.

Great location, great value!

Location is fantastic and the neighborhood is wonderful. The building and neighborhood are very quiet for considering the location. Overall this apartment is a very nice set up. Plenty of room for 3 adults.

The bed was ok, but not comfortable. One piece of furniture was broken and unusable at the time of our arrival.

Check-in process was very difficult and the hot water in the shower isn’t consistent.

I liked the location.

the check-in was very difficult—they basically gave us the wrong pass code to enter and no one was responding to us. No one even apologized after I had been waiting for a while for them to answer back. Had to make an international call because no one was replying to me via text or through booking.com. They don’t have laundry detergent and hot water was not consistent! This was very difficult because it was really cold. Check-out was at 11am and cleaner was there at 10:45 and was basically really hinting for us to leave already. This is after we checked in late because we couldn’t get in. Over all, the check-in process really threw us off. Also, they don’t have a full-length mirror.

Family friendly, safe and clean accommodation

Easy check in using the IGLOOHOME key box. Clear instructions given before arrival. Great support from the team who facilitated a late check in as our train was delayed. Charly and Johanna were supportive on the phone. Travelling with the small children and a pregnant wife we had nil issues with the accommodation. Plenty of towels and kitchen utensils and amazing beds! Thank you guys for a great and memorable stay. Merci Beaucoup! Kazi & Family, London

Great location, comfortable property

A very nice property for two. Comfortable, clean and well equipped in a very nice area of Paris. It was also fairly quiet property since the street nearby has little traffic and the apartment is in a courtyard. Excellent internet connection was helpful as we did some home office from the place some of the week. The washing machine/dryer was really handy as we stayed about a week in the place.

The induction stove didn't seem to work (we reported this to this owner but got no response) but that was a minor issue eventually as we mostly went out for a bite at some nearby eateries and restaurants.

Great, qualitative appartment, in a trendy area!

It's a very nice, cosy and clean appartment. Nice big bedroom, very nice relax space, the sofa bed is good quality. The full appartment has wooden floors. A very nice bathroom. The kitchen is ok for breakfast and preparing snacks, which was good enough for us. Don't expect it to be equiped to deliver a 3 course meal for 4 people. And it's sunny, light throughout the day. The trendy neighbourhood is great with nice bars, restaurants and small shops. The key retrieval and access to the place was not hard for us. Not sure what all the reviewers are complaining about, maybe the instructions were improved. There are a few steps to complete, but all are documented with pictures and clearly described in the link on Checkmyguest that you receive after the Checkmyguest vetting process is completed. The vetting process (+deposit) before checkin is also not hard. It's a process that gave me confidence the place will be nice and qualitative. It goes both ways: it's reassuring for both the visitor and owner. For us this appartment was a very nice fit.

The cleaning lady arrived before checkout time. I think guests shouldn't be disturbed before checkout time.

This was terrible. The instructions on the email where incomplete and then the person on the phone was giving me the wrong information. A very bad start to my trip. I would have been stranded if I did not a working mobile. Very unhappy about this.

the location is perfect, the living room is comfortable

The instructions to get the keys are fine. The only bad experience on arrival was to meet the next door neighbor, who told us in a very unfriendly manny that smoking is prohibited in the courtyard. We were NOT smoking - and are non-smokers anyway. Even if the house and the courtyard are both really nice, after this very unfriendly encounter I felt that visitors are not too welcome there. Probably, the neighbor had made some bad experiences with other guests. So I can kind of understand. Still...

There are very few kitchen utensils. Thus the kitchen is not very practical if you want to do your own cooking. There are many things missing: towel to dry dishes, kitchen paper, brush zu clean dishes in the sink, detergent for the dishwasher, wooden utensils for cooking in pans, salad spinner etc. It is more a breakfast kitchen than a real kitchen. Another, minor, point: the pillows for sleeping are very thick - I am not used to that and had a stiff neck in the morning.

After the confirmation from Booking, you are being transferred to "Check my guest" system. You can already understand from the name, that it serves the owner of the apartment and not the guest. You must fill a form with your details, takes a day while your details are checked. Next, you must send a Selfie, holding your ID. Next, you must transfer 500 Euros deposit. Then you receive by Email, part of the codes for entering the building. It's not over yet. Once you reach the building, you must call someone on the intercom, so he can open another gate for you and give you a code to the apartment door. But he never answered, so we couldn't get in for an hour. Horrible experience After an 11 hour flight. Not recommended!!

The location is good, the apartment is modern, tastefully renovated, very clean, quiet, good equipped. Das Apartment lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Getting the keys at night was a bit clumsy for us, perhaps just a personal issue. Besides that everything else was perfect.

aufgrund der tollen Lage und angenehmer Wohnung empfehlenswert

augezeichnete Lage, 2x Klimaanlage (Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer), Wohnung war im ersten Stock - man konnte auch gut alle Fenster öffnen, sehr ruhige Umgebung, gleich um die Ecke gab es tolle Bäckereien, kleine Cafe's und gute Restaurants.

gesamte Dusche müsste man erneuern - Duschkopf war nicht sauber, Duschwände hatten dunkle Fließen aber die müsste man auch desinfizieren.

Heerlijke plek voor een stel of gezin om te verblijven, midden in het centrum (le Marais).

Het was erg schoon, hip en gezellig ingericht, voldoende koffie/thee en zeer ruim voor Parijse begrippen. De locatie is top, vlakbij république. De vaatwasser (en eventuele wasmachine) in de keuken zijn ook een plus.

De douche is op zich ruim en mooi, maar een benauwd en heel warm ‘hok’. Na het douchen. Geen raam en dus slechte ventilatie.
