Gorgeous home in beautiful Santa Teresa! Walk to the beach from this lovingly renovated condo where the large deck is set up for outdoor living. Watch the monkeys climb through the trees from your lounge chair. Appreciated some of the most stunning sunsets from your outdoor dining area or take a 5 minute walk to the prettiest part of the beach in Santa Teresa where the surf is waiting for you! All this in the safety of the well known gated community of Maramar.
A VIP concierge will be at your service before and during your stay, assisting with transportation from the airport to Santa Teresa (by plane or car/shuttle) and arranging rentals for ATVs, Rhinos, or 4x4 vehicles, ready at the property’s parking lot. We can also organize private chefs, Yoga and Pilates sessions, surf lessons, massages, and much more!
The location is just perfect! In the heart of Santa Teresa Beaches, steps away from the best surf point known as La Lora, amazing restaurants, cafes, nice shops and supermarkets!
"Tree Nest" is on the second floor of a small condominium, so you would have to go up/down 2 flights of stairs plus some other to reach the parking lot.. Nothing difficult for healthy people :) Once you are in the terrace, looking for the sunset, you will forget about it!!
"Tree Nest" features 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 with king-size beds and 1 with a queen-size bed, 2 bathrooms, an open-space kitchen, a living area and a stunning terrace with breathtaking views of the ocean and the surrounding jungle.
Located just 2 minute walk from the mar-A-mar pool and only 5 minutes from the sandy beach, surf spot and nearby restaurants!
We encourage you to rent a 4x 4 car or ATV to discover town and the beauty of the Peninsula.
- Internet: We have fiber optic with 2 different providers so when one service goes down, we have the other as back up!
- Animals & Insects: Get ready to see wildlife in its natural habitat! Howler and white-faced monkeys often pass through the trees next to house, along with iguanas and raccoons! Being in Costa Rica, you might also spot harmless insects like ants, cockroaches or geckos, especially during the rainy season. Don’t worry, this is just part of the tropical environment, not a cleanliness issue!
- Power Outages: Power cuts are common in Santa Teresa and you may experience them during your stay. This is a normal part of the local environment.
- Humidity: Santa Teresa has an average annual relative humidity of 74%, with peaks up to 87% in October and lows around 71% in February. This high humidity can make it difficult for clothes to dry, especially during the rainy season. It’s completely normal for clothing to take longer to dry in these conditions.

This property was very comfortable - all the furniture and the beds were great. We travelled with our 2 adult daughters and they had their own rooms at the end of the large balcony and could hang out there if they needed some time on their own. The very back bedroom didn't get wifi though, so our one daughter would just come into one of the common spaces when she wanted to go on her phone. You just need to be prepared for the 103 stairs up and down from the parking spot, combined with the hill if you are walking down to the beach or the main street. The first couple of days were a little tough, but after that, it just was another good leg workout (albeit arriving to the place a little sweaty). The air conditioners worked awesome at night and there were great restaurants close by so we could walk to most our meals when we weren't eating in the property. Loved being able to do that and walk to the beach whenever we liked.

This is the second year in a row that we've stayed at Nido 2 in Playa Santa Teresa and it lived up to our previous experience. Valentine (the manager of the property) is excellent at her job and goes out of her way to help you with reservations for restaurants, fishing, surfing, etc. Lu was also very helpful. The house was perfect for our family of 5 and very comfortable. The staff around Maramar are very friendly, including the housekeeping staff. We were very happy with our stay and hope to come back again!
