We had the most basic room but still had a minifridge and very modern bathroom. Our balcony was also lovely to enjoy in the evening and the entrance way was large which was ideal when coming back from a bike. Breakfast portions were large, again ideal for a hiking holiday. The Spitz restaurant downstairs is amazing, great food and drinks and lovely staff.

Small family run business, they do everything! The delicious made to order breakfast and fancy coffees each morning were a real treat. I was having back issues, so Martina arranged to have us picked up from train. When we left , she personally helped wheel my luggage to the train station. Room was clean, quiet and beautiful, lovely view from the balcony. Best stay on our 15 day EASTERN Europe trip!

We have dietary request (dairy free). They went above and beyond to accommodate us. There was a huge variety of options they bought just for us. Great location for hikes and great transport links.
There was an issue with our room being double booked for our first night. We were not too bothered but the staff very apologetic and made it right.

The location in Stary Smokovec is great, the hotel is really clean, good breakfast & friendly staff!
It it was hotter aircon would definitely be needed.
