Pension Tatrasport Zampa

We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel has a fantastic location with breathtaking mountain views. Visiting in autumn made the experience even more special — the scenery and beautiful autumn colors were simply spectacular! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and of excellent quality! They are served in a charming boutique-hotel style: instead of a traditional buffet, you order your breakfast from a menu and it is freshly prepared for you. This means a little waiting time, but the quality and presentation make it well worth it. The hotel also offers convenient parking and is perfectly located for exploring the region by car, with many wonderful attractions within easy reach. There is also a nearby train station, making it very convenient to explore the Tatras without driving. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again!

The only downside was having extremely noisy neighbors for several days. Constant running, stomping, shouting, and banging, particularly in the mornings and evenings, made it difficult to relax at times. However, this was certainly not the hotel’s fault. It was more a matter of inconsiderate guests who seemed to forget that other people were staying at the hotel too. Unfortunately, not everyone understands the importance of respecting others and keeping noise levels reasonable.

It was so fitting for the mountain community . The family and staff were so warm and welcoming. The room was comfortable as were the beds. The breakfasts were amazing.

The hallways were not lite enough.

We had the most basic room but still had a minifridge and very modern bathroom. Our balcony was also lovely to enjoy in the evening and the entrance way was large which was ideal when coming back from a bike. Breakfast portions were large, again ideal for a hiking holiday. The Spitz restaurant downstairs is amazing, great food and drinks and lovely staff.

Small family run business, they do everything! The delicious made to order breakfast and fancy coffees each morning were a real treat. I was having back issues, so Martina arranged to have us picked up from train. When we left , she personally helped wheel my luggage to the train station. Room was clean, quiet and beautiful, lovely view from the balcony. Best stay on our 15 day EASTERN Europe trip!
