Incredible value for money!

Very clean, warm spacious rooms. Simple to enter and exit the property and the location was 5 minutes from the seaside.

Well equipped room and house facilities available to guests.

No windows in bedroom (No. 6) or in en-suite bathroom, albeit there was an opaque-glass skylight. Otherwise, room & bathroom were excellent!

Small room with a claustrophobia feeling

The room itself was OK, although very small. We didn't like that there were no windows in the room except for one in the ceiling which was high up. We felt trapped with no way to escape in case of fire or anything. The host couple were not home when we arrived, so we couldn't ask for another room. The next morning a really nice breakfast was served. It was the first time we met the hostess, but there was no kind of understanding when she politely asked how we had slept, and we said that we hadn't because of claustrophobia. She thought that we should have known that from the pictures, which we looked at again without clearly being able to see the lack of windows and escape from the pictures. At the very least, we expected some understanding and maybe a discount on the price, which was simply rejected. Due to the above, we can NOT recommend the place, even though it is in a beautiful location.

A delightful stay in a quiet, comfortable location with a superb breakfast from excellent hosts.

It's in a great location, just a few minutes dander to the Strand. Free parking on site. Our room was facing the street but we didn't hear any noise. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. The room is decorated to a high standard and was exceptionally clean. It has heating, air conditioning, wifi, big Smart TV with Prime, Netflix etc. Bathroom exceptionally clean too, with a good selection of toileteries and thoughtful extras. A fridge in the room, with bottles of water, was such a bonus. Hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits. Table and chair with a mirror and additional chair with a footstool. The room is very comfort to sit in, not just somewhere to sleep. The breakfast was superb. Much better than I expected for a B&B, excellent selection. Theresa is so welcoming and attentive and Robert makes the best scrambled eggs. Theresa and Robert's B&B is much better than some 4* hotels.

Absolute perfection and the most amazing hosts!

The most amazing hosts Theresa and Robert, simply the best! Port 56 offers beautiful rooms in a great location and with the most delicious breakfasts. Theresa provided really helpful information on places to visit and always with a smile. We would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely return.

Very nice property for us three adults.

Breakfast was delicious. Location was good, we could walk to nice eating/drinking spots.

Had bad connection with phone and didn't realize we needed to let them know what time we wanted breakfast. Owner was still very accommodating to us, especially since we needed to leave early for Carrick-a-Rede tickets. Very nice. Beds were nice but I did hit my head on the loft bed twice. Just not used to that setup.

Robert & Teresa were so hospitable and helpful. Really enjoyed the breakfast they made every morning for us. They took very good care of us during our stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Port Stewart.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts, so informative, easy check-in, room was beautiful, clean, tidy, modern, fresh, has air-con, Netflix, huge tv, fridge, comfy beds, clean bathroom, great shower, retractable skylight which is lovely a feature, lots of space in the room too. Location was class, 3 min walk downhill into portstewart. Host honestly were so nice, met them couple of times, very genuine polite helpful people.

A lot of places are listed on booking.com as wheelchair accessible and they are definitely not when you arrive or make further enquiries with the accommodation owner . This b&b however truly is! Not hidden steps. Broad doorways , broad hallways, wet room style bathrooms with build in stool. Room between beds to allow for safe transfers. The hosts are amazing. This was our second time staying and we will be back. Approximately 5min flat walk into portstewart centre. Doable in an electric wheelchair/ scooter or push wheelchair or with small kids. Owners very turned in and helpful. Parking onsite.

Amazing vibes of the host - Theresa and Robert! This is always what i love in guest houses where people are so welcoming and friendly. Great room with a free upgrade to a more lux king size bed. Great breakfast, freshly made and lots of choices. Therese and Robert were very responsive and gave excellent recommendations. They even helped us a lot with our roadtrip by providing great tips for main highlights. Will definitely be back. Theresa and Robert, please know that hosts like you, make the world a better place to live in !
