Location

Dog hair on the sofa bed clearly states no dogs are allowed. Knobs on the wardrobes missing, blinds in bathroom broken, toilet seat downstairs not screwed in, Ant infestation in the kitchen area. It is not suitable for 6 as it states. Only for 4 people.

Very disappointing

The location

The whole property smelt damp and musty as if there had been a bad leak, possibly a sewage problem. The smell became increasingly obvious so we stayed out the property as much as possible and ate out which we hadn't included in our budget. We had planned to self cater which was the point of having this property. I have since checked old reviews and the smell was mentioned by another guest. The host who was very pleasant did come round on request to show us how to use the sofa bed when we first arrived ( there were no instructions and the mechanism was very stiff) and did give us alternative bedding for the sofa on request as it smelt so bad. However that was impregnated with the same smell. There was a very large and unpleasant old stain on the upstairs landing carpet, possibly connected to a leak, the trim was broken on the shower screen, curtains were not hung properly, the downstairs toilet seat was broken, there were no bins in the toilet or bathroom, again, mentioned by a previous guest and should be essential for sanitary products.We were only there for two days so did not want to waste more time trying to get these issues sorted - the smell would not have been resolved anyway. The property has great potential but sadly has not been maintained at the standard expected. It was precious family time for us which was spoiled by the poor standard of the accommodation. I would advise future guests to check if the smell issue has been resolved before booking.

distance to beach and local shops was really good. The neighbours both sides were lovely and helpful. size of property was good, having 2 toilets was handy .

there was lots of things that needed fixing and weren't clean. we also had homeless people camp up outside the property. I have messaged the owner about the repairs and cleanliness. The decking on the balcony had a hole in it covered by fake grass,causing me to fall and injure myself.

An excellent stay, we would come back here again.

The accommodation was lovely inside, it felt very homely and it was very clean. The bathroom is nice and bright and airy as are the rooms. The location is also very good, and just a short walk to restaurants and pubs, the park and the beach. It was also a very quiet location with no noise on an evening meaning we could have the windows open on a warm evening and it was very peaceful.

There is no garden area to the property. There are large patio doors which open onto a small balcony area. This area could perhaps do with a bit of a refresh but that's more personal taste, the property itself was immaculate.

Comfortable - accommodates 4 people comfortably. Six might be a bit of a stretch but doable.

The keysafe combination was difficult to read at night - even using the torch on the phone as the tumblers are silver and reflect light back. A pushbutton model would be better.

The location was excellent for town and having parking spot was a bonus. The kitchen was clean and everything you would need. Having WIFI and TV channels was a bonus.

honestly, nothing at all

no welcome package to assist us with wifi and turning heat on. carpets were dirty, floors uneven and neighborhood was a little sketchy, we didn’t feel safe at night.

Perfect city center house

Location couldn't be better. It's so central but at the same time not noisy. The house is perfect for a family. There were enough utensils to cook and basic supplies. Big king size bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The house has a nice vibe so overall a great stay.

A very bad experience！

The first day of chech in, I found that the kitchen’s window can’t close,I called the landlord, there was no answer,I left a message，nobody replied,And the bathroom door is broken，you can't open it from the inside，I was locked in until my husband came back and helped me out of the bathroom。 There was lots of garbage out front, nobody picked up, and we got a complaint from neighbor on number 25,We have to clean up！！！

The house was nice and clean and the beds were comfy the rooms were also a lovely size.

My children very much enjoyed the complimentary biscuits that were left. I appreciated the washing soap and washing up liquid. I also liked that there was a clothes horse which was extremely handy

The top bathroom lock wasn’t very good and would get stuck, the upstairs toilet seat also wasn’t ideal as kept moving and flush was coming away from the holder but worked so I guess that’s the main thing. The bath had no handles so was a little slippery for my kids and my 4 year old slipped so a non slip bath mat would have been good. The balcony table was a little rusty and the decking was broken so felt a little unsafe for kids to go outside and sit

good location, clean, nice towels although only 4 provided for 5 guests, beds reasonably comfortable

property needed a bit of attention - bathroom door knob faulty and could only open from outside so had to keep door ajar whilst showering and going to the toilet. Bath tap dripping so irritating noise all night. No hooks to hang clothes in bathroom. Not enough crockery only 3 mugs. would have been useful to have kitchen roll and washing up liquid.

Was a little ‘tired’ in its presentation, needs a little love. Some broken/rickety furniture in the bedrooms Cleanliness could have been better. On the surface looked clean but the dust had begun to settle. Kitchen appliances needed cleaning before use. Sofa bed is questionable, also not set with any bedding but did find a blanket to keep warm.
