Temple Hotel 正暦寺

Einmaliger Aufenthalt im Tempel! Man wurde herzlich begrüßt und fühlte sich sofort willkommen. Das Haus, in dem man übernachtete, war wunderschön und authentisch, und modern zur selben Zeit. Man hatte alles was man brauchte. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten haben den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderen gemacht. Hervorzuheben ist auch das ausgezeichnete vegetarische Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen), welches frisch zubereitet wurde. Danke für diese herzliche Gastfreundschaft!

The monk and his wife are very sweet. The activities are super fun to do. The room is very spacious and clean. Diner is also very nice. Private diner feeling! Loved it.

If you are a light sleeper it will be difficult to sleep with the passing train.

Wonderful hospitality in a lovely area in a temple. Beautifully prepared dinner and breakfast with many homemade treat added (jams, juices from local gardens, produce from local farms, even homemade soft drinks!). Also, a special opportunity (totally your choice) to participate in temple activities if you want. Room was authentically beautiful with some original treasures, and thoughtfully equipped including brand new private bath and shower. The hosts are very caring and attentive. Countryside scenery was gorgeous (morning mist in the mountains) and famous nearby sites (Amanohashidate, Ine no Funaya) accessible by about an hour’s drive. The temple itself is easily accessible by public transport.
