The location of the property was excellent, over looking River Dee and very close to main street into Chester. Facilities were satisfactory for our short stay. The owners had clearly made an effort to maximise views from tne property.
The propery needs a bit of TLC. Door locks were starting to fail and difficult to open. The bathroom was missing some key items eg. A mirror, toilet roll holder, bath could not be used as no plug (accepting that there was an overhead shower available). Only x 1 bath towel per person provided, when you really need a hand towel as well to dry your hands and/or hair. The grill had not been cleaned- there was dirty grease proof paper still in situ from previous guests and the general standard of cleaning was poor. External areas need a spruce up.

Excellent location with views over to the Dee bridge and weir from the private veranda. Well placed for a wide range of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Well-equipped kitchen and comfortable sofa and chair in the lounge. No extra charge for Wifi or for bringing our dog.
My wife has some mobility issues and found the three or four steps up into the property rather awkward. The main carpark nearby was occupied by a fair, which could have given us a problem finding parking during the day.

Location and ease of accessing the property. Lovely garden area to sit outside
Strong smell of damp when entering. Kitchen needs an overhaul, main bedroom bed very uncomfortable and wall behind bed very damp. Plug missing from bath
