4* hotel needs to accomplish a certain level of qualities and this has not.
Not so much. Considering it was chosen on Friday because of restaurant, we arrived and got informed it was closed (no clear explanation)
Restaurant closed but, probably, used for internal party (music high volume till midnight and fireworks 20 mt from our room for 5 minutes (from 23.50 to 23.55). Curtains dirty with not easy identification of white stains. First time in my life (and booking knows how many hotel I travel) that was required a supplement of 15 € from twin bed to big bed - no claim on my potential mistake during booking). I do not get poor because of it but, the welcoming, the watchdog during breakfast (you need to be served at the buffet), noisy party without notice, etc).

Comfortable but not a 4 star stay given issues
Lovely structure in a good location Breakfast was good and varied with great service Good and safe parking in private gardens We were allowed to check in a little early. Only 1/2 hour walk to the centro storico.
Air conditioning didn’t work. Talked to staff a couple of times and they couldn’t fix it and they didn’t have a different room to move us into. No tea or coffee facilities in the room and water from mini bar you had to pay for. Generally clean but insect Pooh on lamp shades. Bedroom door couldn’t be locked from inside. No one could enter without a key card but physical lock was broken. See message above that no other rooms were available. We had been told before going that the pool was closed but what a shame.

Great place with nice amenities. Perfect location for relaxing and hop on trips to great scenic locations in Tuscany. Wonderful host and great breakfast. Watch out for Leo, the friendly canine with muddy paws.
