The room we received first was large but had cigarette smell. We informed the staff and they changed it and gave us another room

Huge clean, comfortable rooms. Gym included as well. Right next to the train station. 24/7 front desk was very handy!! Very helpful front desk as well.

Got woken up by extremely loud church bells so pack some ear plugs if you dont like that.

The room size was great. The Air conditioning was great, very quiet compared with other hotels we stayed in during our holiday. The location was good for us, as we were travelling around Italy by train. The staff were brilliant, all very helpful and happy to assist when needed.

The hotel and room decor is very dated, circa 1990s, and really needs freshening up and modernising. The bathroom, although a good size, had a terrible old shower in a fixed position that sprayed the whole room, unavoidably often flooding the floor. There were only electric socket points on one side of the bed. No available charging points for mobile phones. Tea and coffee making facilities provided, but without milk. A vending machine or somewhere to buy bottles of water or snacks would be a very useful addition. There was often loud noise in the corridors late at night, and early in the morning by inconsiderate disrespectful guests talking very loudly, or shouting at each other. The lift also makes a pinging sound every time it stopped on our floor which could be heard all night. These issues resulted in poor sleep each night for us, despite the bed being very comfortable. Overall I wouldn't stay here again because the facilities don't make for a comfortable stay, which is disappointing because the location is perfect for those travelling and the staff were fantastic.
