My stay at Riverside Airport Hotel

The cleanliness of the room

There is no security, no staff.. No facility. It is suitable for a one night stay.

Great overnight stay near the airport

Great location, perfect if one has morning flight, room was comfy and clean, coffee maker ( coffee pod provided) Smooth communication with the host, there is no staff at the facility, however all details how to get to the room were provided via email

Shower sliding door on one side were somewhat not sliding, definitely need to be repaired

It was okay but could be managed better.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable (Americans probably would rather expect a queen size bed, but for me growing up in Germany it was okay). I enjoyed the coffee machine in the morning.

With scrubs touching the bath room window, I decided not to let the bath room window open to prevent mice to enter. It might make sense to cut the scrubs from time to time. What really pissed me off was the missing hair dryer. I actually had to leave the hotel going to the train station with wet hair (like 5 degrees C/40 F outside). I booked late and therefore paid more than 200 Euro/night. For that price the room could have a hair dryer. It seemed also odd to pass the trash cans when entering the hotel.

Good location.. responsive staff via message, but not useful since no one in house to address concerns.

Zero staff, low sense of security with keys left in the door and main entrance open at night , internet and TV didn't work, WiFi passwords in the room were wrong, ceilings looked untouched and dirty. Rather uncomfortable beds and not the best lighting. Zero wardrobe space or any storage with a door. For all that, expensive..only an option for a day or two if nothing else is available

I will NEVER stay there again!

Convenient location, short walk from train station. There’s a good restaurant attached to hotel with nice beer garden.

Room was dirty, didn’t look like they dusted in a long time (spiderwebs, too), the bathroom tiles were moldy, the furniture had seen better days (pieces broken off) the bottom of lamp stand hadnt been cleaned in forever it seemed, super dirty baseboards, used soap left in shower, dirty faucet handles und toilet flusher, missing toilet roll holder, trash in bathroom trash bin, empty toilet deodorizer, the vent in bathroom was taped with toilet paper and electrical tape, cable mess from lamps, extension cords on floor in plain sight and tripping hazard, dings and dirt on walls. Had a double bed for single use, only half the bed was made and unmade side had black fuzzy things on mattress pad, window frame hadn’t been cleaned ever, so it seemed. For German standards and for the price I paid 86 Euros a night, it was the worst place I ever stayed at! Will NEVER go back!

Check in process was electronic, first time I go to a hotel without a human to recieve me, room lacked fan or AC, if I opened the window there was no moskito net.

Very easy, comfortable check in with smart key.

There were few (working) power outlets in room “Tokyo”. The bed was fairly small. No elevator, very steep stairs in the dark. Not very soundproof. No places to hang up towels.

Fair choice to catch an early flight at FRA

Very close to Frankfurt airport. Reasonably priced

Quite noisy due to traffic. Haven't had any contact to any person of the hotel. All by eMail.

Check in process too complicated. I didn’t got the message with the key and when contacted the property they didn’t respond. I suggest they send the key info via booking. And also. Opening the door by clicking a button on a key website doesn’t look that safe. No double lock from inside either.

A large, quiet, clean and comfortable room in a hotel that is close to the airport - yet inexpensive.

Guests are asked to check in online, and are provided virtual room keys. I'm not sure whom I would have turned to, had there been a problem...

it was a lovely and relaxing stay

1- the location was just one station away by train from the Frankfurt airport. It was convenient to stay a night to wait for my flight. However, travelers with a lot of suitcases could find it hard to walk from the station to the hostel. 2- it was easy to enter the hostel and the room anytime because i could access to the internet on my phone. if not, i didn't know how to. 3- the room was lovely. its cleaness was exceptional. i was impressed. 4- restaurant was right downstair so it was convenient. the food was good, especially the salad. in general, it was a lovely and relaxing stay. i appreciated my friend for booking it for me.

there was no elevator to load my suitcases but the staff was nice and kind to help me out.

I really loved the keyless entry, sent via SMS. Especially for short term reservations, I think this is very helpful. The biergarten outside was a nice balance to the 'hygenic' entry via code.

WLAN code wasn't available in my room, even though I had booked with Wifi. Perhaps since we changed rooms...but the code wasn't in the room. Personally, WLAN should be available to all (built in the price) and the access should be easily visible.

Nice little hotel room

I liked the location of the place. Close to the airport and a few restaurants. The doors, opening then with my cellphone, that was cool!

Having to take the stairs to get to the room, elevator would been helpful but that's alright, was only one flight of stairs.

Exceptional

It was 3rd time I stayed here, as usual - everything is good to stay overnight between flights. This time I found they implemented electronic access system to the building and to a room but it was not very clear how to use it. I contacted staff after 10pm and they responded with instruction immediately 👍 Very good value for money - nothing special, just nice clean and tidy room with clean and fresh towels and bedclothes. Location is ideal - 3 minutes by train from terminal for only €3.80 and 3 minutes walk from Kelsterbach station!

I pinched my finger in the door when opening electronic lock at the entry downstairs, as it was dark when I arrived. Maybe it should be fixed.. Couldn't find the DND tag in my room and somebody knocked the door in the morning..

The beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom were spacious. The restaurant below was wonderful again. I recommend the Kelsterbach Schnitzel it was amazing!

The pillows were a flat, not very supportive. More like cotton balls with attitude. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay

Excellent Hotel Recommend Highly

The bed was comfortable, the room spacious. The restaurant downstairs was AMAZING! We have recommended this hotel to our friends, who have also booked their stay here.

It was a little difficult for my husband who is mobility challenged. We had to climb 2 flights of stairs and go down a few corridors but the room was worth it.

An friendly, inexpensive and convenient stay near FRA

I had room 12, which is large and quiet. The restaurant offers generous proportions of excellent German food! Getting from / to the airport via the S-Bahn was quick and inexpensive.

There is no real reception. The digital key worked, but without a host / receptionist one feels a bit abandoned...

A very nice hotel. Thanks for the service!

Very nice, kind and patient employee. Tegut, dm and REWE are accessible within 15 minutes by walk. Clean and quiet environment suitable for a rest. Very close to the Frankfurt international airport, only 1 stop away from the airport by S-Hahn.

Accessible elevator will be very useful and helpful for tourists with heavy luggages.
